If I put these socks on and pull them up hard on my leg, the heel of the sock ends up above the heel on my foot, and up to the back of my ankle. I wear a size 10 mens shoe, and I bought the large size of these. It took me awhile but I figured out that the socks fit fine as long as I don't pull them up too high on my leg, and if I adjust them a little here and there before I put shoes on. Once I had them on right, they stayed in place on my foot just fine and did not fall down my leg at all. As for comfort, these socks are very, very comfortable, and they are a joy to wear while walking. I have had three very pleasant long walks with them now, and my feet have felt a lot better than usual afterward. These socks offer a lot of support to my arches, and padding around my toes and heel, and they look cool too! I have not washed them yet,so I can't speak to their durability, or how the washing machine might change things. I'll be sure and add to my review if I have any trouble with this. (I have a feeling these socks run a little large in sizing, and a wash might fix this.)

I love that there are R and L socks, specific to each foot. The fit is amazing, form fitting, but not constrictive in foot. Padded but not thick. Very absorbant and comfortable all day walking and hiking. I would have loved them but they are too tight around ankles for me (small woman with thin ankles). I'm more sensitive than many about my ankles; so other people will love these socks.

Cover the ankles and snuggly wrap feet. Socks are labelled with L and R respectively.

The promise is that these socks are “Cushion Moisture Wicking Socks for Cycling Sport Tennis No Blister Coolmax.” The reality is quite different. The socks didn’t provide adequate cushioning for my feet, nor did they keep them cool. After walking two miles, my feet were very warm, and on the fourth mile they were positively on fire. I bought six pairs for walking the Camino de Santiago and made the mistake of washing them all as soon as they arrived. Now I’m stuck with six pairs that will do me little good on the Camino.
