Love it good fit and air flow!

I’ve owned many gas masks over the years. This is actually phenomenal. I have a big head, and beard. Fits great, and seals! Put the mask on, use your left palm to cover the hole that the filter screws into and breathe in. This tests the seal for you. Adjust as needed. After 9/11, gas masks were hundreds of dollars, even old surplus masks.. this price is literally crazy for this mask. My only regret is I only ordered one! About to fix that in a minute. I’ll prob grab some extra filters too, they will also fit in my military surplus masks and the filter came capped and shrink sealed in plastic. Unbelievable deal for budget Preppers, or anyone else that could potentially have the need for a mask like this. A+.

I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. The mask itself is shockingly high quality. I had made peace with the fact that for $35ish I'd be receiving a cheap "gas mask" with rubber that is beat by soviet era manufacturing, but it's really well made and possibly nitrile (no way for me to check, it gives strong chemical resistance vibes). The filter, however, does not inspire confidence. It works fine enough but I refuse to believe that it can filter benzamines and carbon tet when I can smell aluminum compounds through it. Works for what I need it for, but definitely purchase a 3M or other reputable filter if you need to do harsher chemical work. Seal is good, even with long hair, is a bit tight around the chin but is likely just a me problem as I have a slightly longer and narrower jaw.

I recently picked up a full-face respirator mask for some projects involving painting and sanding. The breathing resistance was minimal too, which is a relief if you’re wearing it for long stretches.If you’re doing anything that kicks up fine particles or nasty fumes, this is a solid investment. Definitely worth it for peace of mind and healthy lungs.

I'm a prepper. I don't expect doomsday to happen, but if it does happen, I'm prepared for it. I do this to protect my family and myself. I lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis, and I saw how my parents prepared for that doomsday type situation.With that in mind, I have face masks for my family. I was hit hard with the smell of the chemical decontaminants they were using to try to combat the Covid virus! The mask had totally eliminated ALL odors! That's exactly what you want!The face mask and webbing are made of quality silicon rubber. It is contoured to fit the face well with no perimeter leaks using the 6 point head band. It has a valve that directs the air you exhale to the outside world, allowing only filtered air INTO the mask.Do I think this mask will keep you safe? Yes. Do I think this mask is a good value? Yes. Am I a doomsday prepper? Yes, for over 60 years! Do I know what I'm talking about? Yes. My family's life depends on it!The recent Covid pandemic is probably the only doomsday scenario you will ever see, but... It is better to be prepared and not need it than to find yourself in a doomsday situation and be unprepared!This full face mask will help you survive adverse situations.

Look up GB 2890-2009 Chinese industry standard before purchasing.

This is my second gas mask and while the first claimed to allow a fast and easy replacement of the filter cartridge all while wearing the mask, in reality it was like playing facial Twister. And that was under calm and normal circumstances. Under conditions where there was truly a vaporized threat present, I can't imagine the stress it might create. This gas mask couldn't be any more different. The filter cartridge simply unscrews from a threaded port on the outside of the mask and a new cartridge can be just as easily screwed in. While I'm not a "prepper", I do believe in having a few essentials on hand just in case emergencies arise. This gas mask certainly falls into that category and I am happy with some invaluable peace of mind to have it in the house. My only complaint is a common one for any of these types of products: a strong rubber odor associated with the mask. I'd recommend unboxing it and leaving it out to air for a few days before storing. But, short of that, this is a great product that I will hopefully never need.

Lots of adjustment on the 6 different straps and it’s easy to loosen when you need to take it off. Not sure on how well the filters work. I guess time will tell but I have a beard and this mask fits and seals great! For the price I don’t think you can go wrong.
