Works like it's supposed to…
What can I say about this mobility stick? It's basically a dowel rod with rubber handles. I was hoping it would come with some exercise instructions, it did not. Fortunately, there are plenty of places to find them on line. My arms are too short to reach the ends so I just hold the dowel rod closer in. My husband on the other hand has the perfect reach for it. It does what I wanted so I happy with it.

Very sturdy and heavy duty. Length is perfect for me and my husband who is much taller than me. I like the hand grips too.

A Premium 5 foot long Yoga stick or Mobility Stick, many uses
I got this as a Yoga Stick, a prop that can help support the body for moving into difficult postures for practitioners with a more limited range of motion (use in high lunge, pigeon). But even for the very fit with a good range of motion, a shaft or stick such as this can help a fit and flexibly body to move safety in and out of more difficult poses. For example a simple flexing of the entire length of the body from mountain pose into a curve to the left or right can be enhanced with both raised arms are grasping onto a taut strap or holding a yoga stick. A high lunge with one raised arms tilted over to the other side of the body, can be held with a greater degree of tilt, if the unraised arm/hand can hold on to a Yoga stick in the manner of a cane. A simple wide legged forward fold at the hips with both arms lifted up high over the back and neck, and be enhanced by grasping a Yoga stick. Of course there are many ways to use this stick as a resistance object to enhance an upright body posture free of slumping. This stick is engineered out of 100% bamboo making it ecofriendly. The stick has a nice ample diameter providing a good grip and the weight is solid, neither being too heavy or too light. At each end of the stick is a 4.5 inch rubber gripping cover that has a honeycomb pattern. I’ve recently paid a lot of attention to my grip strength, finger strength and wrist strength as I’m working on my ability to hold difficult arm balances longer such as one legged Crow, and Flying pigeon. This yoga stick given its length and heft, makes for a perfect forearm + wrist+ finger strengthener by griping this stick by one hand and flipping it up and down slowly. The use of a stick instead of a strap in stretching exercises eliminates some of the excess gripping action on a strap that can cause carpel tunnel tendencies to flare up.
