Unisex Deluxe Doctoral Graduation Gown With Velvet And Gold Piping

The gown is very good quality. The material, velvet, and details at the shoulder are fantastic. The only reason this gown is not 5 out of 5 is the sizing. It is a bit billowy with lots of material. This does have a positive though, because it could be tailored to any body type. I am glad I went with the recommended height, even though there is lots of material, because the shoulder width and inside cuff length fit me like a tailored suit. I may need to do a bit of tailoring on the inner sleeves and the main body to bring it in a bit - but otherwise a strong 4 out of 5.

Be aware this gown is enormous!! I am 5' tall, and the length was OK but it was so wide, you could have fit 4 of me in this thing. The shoulders barely stayed on me and my arms were completely lost inside the sleeves. It seems like an XXL. I looked like a clown. My bag arrived with one of the corners shredded, and there was damage on the side of the gown -- a spot that looked like the fabric had been heated and fused into a knot. The fabric and velvet seemed nice, though. Too bad they don't make different widths.
