the packaging is nice. the knives look nice, and come blade sharp. however, about 2-3, months in these knives dull so i sharpen them. you can use them in the dishwasher without rusting on the dry cycle ... That was important to me ;but don't let them sit in water overnight since you will experience some rust that you can remove with a scouring pad.
