Glute Kickback LITE “Patented” 100% Made in the USA - Cable Machine Ankle Strap

I’ve been training in my home gym for a while but I wanted to get something for the glutes/hamstrings. I knew about the ankle cable so I first searched for that, but then came across the IPR fitness cable. My trainer was with me at the time and she highly suggested getting the IPR brand since it was unlike the basic ankle strap. It has a strap under neath allowing you to perform perfect kick backs that you can not achieve from a a regular ankle cable. I’m so impressed with the quality and fyi the ring is metal ( some thought it was plastic haha) . This is well thought out and a total game changer for the exercise world. My trainer even tried it out once it arrived and she is going to be ordering them for her gym as well. You get the full range of motion with this, and always try to kick up rather than straight out. This is the correct form and trust me you will feel it the next day! My husband also loves it; it’s now my go to when I’m doing legs and I am always sore the next day! Update: After contacting the owner of the company and explaining my troubles with barefoot lifting, he offered to create a new one for me based on my foot size and modified for comfort. You just can’t ask for better service, the new strap arrived and was just awesome. Fits perfectly and performs extremely well, I added a photo next to the original.Both are well constructed and will last essentially forever for me. I have not had a better experience using Amazon!*original review below *I lift barefoot, and was hoping for a hamstring/glute exercise accessory that would not slip and would allow me to better isolate hamstrings, glutes, and even quads. Well, it does that, but the discomfort is pretty intense. Also as a men's size 10, I purchased the men's model. It's way too big to use effectively. I will try it with some shoes, but the required time to put them on and take them off again interferes with my time too much to be an effective accessory.

What really sold me was how it has the strap along the back and bottom of your shoe. Being able to push out with your heel really helps to engage your glutes, and I was looking for something just like this!I'm incredibly happy with my purchase and recommend it to anyone looking for some kickback straps. While the strap will fit around your shoe, the inside of it is still soft, so there's no chafing if it happens to touch skin. You can easily slip it off your shoe and onto the other if you only have the one. Since I bring these straps in on leg days, I get quite a few ladies asking to try it too - I just have to make sure I don't forget them on the machines!What I also love about this product is that it is durable. It's a simple strap, but you can feel that it's made to last.

If you wear large shoes, especially if they have any kind of nubby souls, this strap is cumbersome to take on and off as you move it between feet. I wear size 11 trail shoes and the strap that goes underneath the shoe constantly gets snagged on the nubby protrusions from the bottom of the shoe sole. The length of the strap holding the d-ring is also a little short. If it was a couple of inches longer it might make taking the entire thing on and off a little easier. It might be designed that way so that it doesn't accidentally slip off your foot, but I would trade that for an easier take on/ take off experience. It does serve its purpose, it seems well made, but I've only used it a few dozen times. I pay a little extra if it had a clip on one side of the d-ring strap. It would make it extremely easy to take on and off. So hint to the manufacturer.

Perfect option to attach to a cable machine for kickbacks. The strap is comfortable, doesn’t shift while using it, and is a better option than most ankle straps that hurt when using it.

I'm so happy with my purchase, I see it as more of an investment for myself. The price was perfect to try out a new product, bonus is that I love it!I've seen fitness videos on IG using the cuffs on the ankles to work abductors and glutes, I didn't purchase those because i didn't want anything tugging at my ankles. I viewed a fitness video where this IPR Glute Kickback was being used, I was impressed by the fact that it goes on your shoe over the back of the heel. I immediately began to look for this product and found it here.I placed my order, was expecting it in the mail on Monday but to my surprise, I received it on Friday before expected shipping date- bonus!!!I couldn't wait to begin using it.I warmed up and put my new toe to the test.I couldn't have been happier.The fact that it doesn't pull on your ankle makes it easier to kickback with full range. No discomfort.You can feel it going to work.Great abductor, glute and hamstring workout.Nice addition to my workout routine.I must admit, I had my doubts about the plastic ring, but figured I could replace the ring with a metal one if the plastic breaks, but it is solid!I thought it wouldn't hold because it seemed a tad bit small for my type of shoe (thicker soles), but it doesn't budge, it's comfortable and held my hole workout abductors and all.It became easier to switch as I continued with my sets.I recommend this product for anyone interested in glutes, hamstring and abductor workout or just anyone interested in investing in themselves.The other great part is they have a free library of fitness videos on IG (Instagram).I saw their other products and am looking forward to purchasing some other items since I like how versatile cables are to workout and their products are ergonomic.Looking forward to other products this US based company may come up with in the future.
