Perfect for mounting a tv
Didn't want to run electricity up to where I was hanging a tv so used these to still hide the power and hdmi cords through the wall to a stand below.

Very Nice Combo
As title stated, this is a very nice combo. HomeDepot sells the bracket itself for $2 ish while this combo is very nice and cheaper

They will not necessarily fit an existing box.
I already had some low voltage boxes installed and was hoping that I could use these to simply slap on top of them to finish the task of using an HDMI cable from my main television to a TV on our patio. Unfortunately, the brush plate is designed to set into the box a bit and my outlet box was about an 1/8 inch to small for the plate to fit into my boxes. While I probably could have trimmed them to fit, the boxes were "old work design" and it was easier to just remove them and put the included brackets in. The brushes at the gate are soft so they don't totally close around the wire very tightly as the photo shows but it still provides a nice finished look.

Gets the job done!
I needed to install a cable pass-through in my wall to easily hardwire my internet between two rooms. While there are more permanent solutions out there, I was looking for something quick and simple that would work for my apartment. If I move, I'll just patch up the hole. I was surprised to see that Cable Matters makes wall plates, as I had only known them for their cables. I've always had great experiences with their Ethernet and XLR cords, so when I saw this 2-pack brush wall plate, I didn't hesitate to get it. It was incredibly easy to install, and all the included hardware was of good quality. For a fast, straightforward solution, this was perfect. I couldn’t be happier with the result!

Worked perfectly and looks great.
It worked perfectly for the four speaker cables that I ran through my walls and terminated with eight banana plugs behind my stereo system components. No complaints and it looks great.

Perfect for hiding mounted TV wires
I got this to "hide the wires" from my entertainment center below to my mounted TV above. Once I cut the hole in the wall, the brackets screwed in firmly and the plastic seems sturdy enough to hold for a long time. Passing the wires through the brush plate was smooth and didn't cause any issues with the bristles or my cables. The covers screwed right over the top and stayed straight once tightened. This is pretty straight forward and works well, so if you need this be confident in the product.

Easy to Install and Nice Finish
This review is for the Cable Matters 2-Pack 1-Gang Wall Cable Pass Through. These are good for existing construction. Whether you are cutting a new hole or reusing an existing one, this will fit it and lock in behind existing drywall so you don't need to mount a box. I used it to pass through wires that don't have standard mountable plug connectors so it's a good way to feed cable and still have things looking neat. Not a bad deal for $4.50 each.

Good brush plates
Good quality brush plates, very easy to get cables though the wall. I like using these when keystones on a plate can't be used. Takes about 5 minutes to install per plate, I take my time and use a blade rather than an electric tool since I've had scary experiences almost cutting electrical cable by being careless. Good quality plates and brackets!
