Hayter Premium Fuel Treatment, Green (part number 111-9366)

Hi. I used this on a mower that had been badly stored for 3/4 years. I used the the max dilution recommended for a complete system clean.After a few tugs the mower started and although initially it gave out some black smoke, it soon stabilised and things ran smoothly thereafter. Particularly impressed however, with the ease of starting next time round.This is a very expensive but neglected mower and I'm confident this additive will continue to see if run smoothly in future. Updated review:Have now been using this for around a year and can confirm it works well.My latest bottle however looks different - the liquid is now clear not green. The bottle itself is still the same. Will see how it goes and update my review in due course.The latest bottle also did not come with the measuring device, which as per my initial review was of limited use anyway as it was calibrated at 15, 30 and 45ml which is of limited use when the product dosage is 20 or 40ml.My advice would be to buy a bottle of the Biggs and Stratton fuel additive (that is admittedly more expensive as the dosage is significantly higher) but keep the bottle and refill it with this product as it has an excellent 10ml measure built in which is perfect for this product.- - - - - - - - - - -Original review:Can’t comment yet on the effectiveness of the product as have only just bought it - time will tell on that front.But what I can comment on is the measuring attachment. The product dosage is 20ml for 5 litres of fuel to preserve it, or, 40ml per 5 litres to additionally clean the fuel system.The measuring attachment however is calibrated at 15, 30 and 45ml which is rather unhelpful given the recommended dosages noted above.The measuring attachment also arrived with its rather flimsy lid snapped off in transit - as Amazon packed it in a box with another far heavier item.Overal the measuring attachment is a good idea but poorly executed.

Mower is starting more easily since using this. Rather expensive, and need to take precautions when using it, but it does seem to help cleaning the carburettor.

Integrated measure ensures correct mixing with fuel.

Does what it says, makes starting easier and extends life of petrol. Even worked on my 30 year old Hayter Harrier!
