Stripes run the wrong way.
This is a good quality fitted sheet and is very deep. My only issue with it (which is why I have only given 4 stars not 5) is that the stripes run across the bed from side to side not from top to bottom. This is not clearly shown in the picture and really spoils the look of the sheet on the bed.

1000 thread - no, soft - yes
Definitely a bargain for what it is. Is it 1000 thread count I doubt it however its very soft and nice.

So happy . I ordered another set once I had washed and tumble dried it to check how it survived . Definitely going to buy as a gift for friends

Do not confuse this with Egyptian cotton
This is OK, but very thin and NOT soft or luxurious.The set that I took off the bed was 400 tc Egyptian cotton from Habitat and it was so much softer and more pleasant feeling.
