Male 3/4 pipe threads on the inlet pipe; Female 3/4 pipe outlet needs a flared nipple not provided. The nipple 3/4 male pipe to 3/4 or 1/2 flare should come with the gas line. Like many valves it was hard to rotate the first time. I recommend turning it a few times before installation. It has no metal strapping provided and needs supported in the wall with strapping bars or wooden supports. Be sure to drill hole close to wall or the escutcheon may not snap into the fixture when the dry wall is installed.

Mounting tabs were broken. building a home didn't get to using it for 3 months. Out the package it ws broken and was past return window. PISSED.

Ordered this months ago and used during kitchen reno. The valve stem was very loose and no matter how much it was tightened it still fail gas leak detection + bubble test + strong gas smell. Well past the return window, just did a stub out instead and passed inspection.
