This is a good set of stuff! The carbon stir sticks... I thought they would burn up nope. They are really good! The crucibles. I love them. They are tiny enough to do quick things or torch melt a little bit. Or keep stuff from contaminating your other crucibles. The little I got mold is pure garbage. It is a toy. When you get this package. Feel the crucible... look at it. Now Feel the ingot mold and look at it. Anything that is machined out of carbon like the mold is going to last like 2 or 3 uses. I thought I was smart and let it cool in the kiln with copper in it. The next day the ingot mold was GONE. Where it went? Whose to say? About 50% of it was missing. It was there when I stopped. It did not leave a pile of crud. It left some. But it was mostly gone. This kit is so good I bought it again to get more of the crucibles and stir rods. The crucibles are small so be prepared. ALSO. The rods. I will be using the rods for electroplating since they are inert and conductive they won't contaminate the juices. ALSO! The rods ship in a clear plastic tube with rubber end stops. This looks like a handy storage for other things like maybe glass stir rods? Note that the carbon rods will attract some material so they won't go back into the tube unless you make sure to clean the rod.

These are good quality Tools, & although the size is smaller than what I expected, they’re still a good value for the money. They seem to be built of high-quality graphite, and seem to be quite durable so far. Despite being a little smaller than what I expected, they still function well for my purposes, & are very easy to use. I did not think that I would need or use the graphite rods that are included, but I quickly found out that they are in fact very useful.

exactly what I wanted.. the quality of the crucibles is so-so. mine arrived chipped due to poor packaging. but the thing itself is exactly as described, mine survived 1200c so far without any issues.
