I've known Country Life vitamins for decades and they have a reputation for making good quality products. For people who prefer to have a real food and organic vitamin this would be a good choice. Those things don't necessarily matter to me, but they do to some people. They only list 12 vitamins and the RDA content of those. The maximum RDA of any of the vitamins shown is 100%. I personally like to have mega dosages for many nutrients, especially B vitamins. For instance my main multivitamin and mineral formula has 12,500% of the RDA for b12. That may be overkill for some people, but for an over-methylator like me it is not. You won't get high dosages like that from these pills. They list a dozens of fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, herbs, etc. in the ingredients list of these vitamins. Nothing wrong with that of course, but they must be in such a miniscule amount that it apparently doesn't add any measurable extra nutrition or it would be listed on the label. I was surprised to see that there are no nutritional values listed for any minerals. When you buy multivitamins these days most are also multivitamin with minerals. This product is not that. It clearly says "multivitamin" and that's what it is. But for people who are expecting minerals they should be aware that they will need to get those from somewhere else. I took these pills and also took one of my multivitamin and minerals formulas from another brand so I felt like I was getting a more complete formula that way. My experience with taking supplements over the decades is that quite often you don't notice any difference in how you feel. Especially for multivitamins and mineral formulas since people are eating food and often taking different supplements so it's difficult to know which has done what. I take multivitamins and minerals as a backup plan on top of my already very good natural food diet, so I already feel pretty good. I will say though that when added these Country Foods vitamins to my supplement plan, I did feel a subtle boost in mental clarity and a slight increase in feelings of well-being. I'm going to guess that it might be the mushrooms in the mix but there's no way to know for sure. My opinion is that this formula probably tries to do too many things and has too many ingredients. Probably more as a marketing thing. You can only fit so much into two pills and so the amount that you're going to get of anything which may be beneficial is pretty small. Still some people might find it useful as a backup plan and as I said I felt some subtle positive features from it so you may want to give it a try for a few weeks and see how it does for you.

Things to consider: 1. Looked this up before ordering and it is the same formula as used in their woman's RealFood Organic multivitamin. So two bottles not needed if being used by other adults in a household. 2. Appreciate the whole food, organic approach to supplementation; and the daily value levels are reasonable (regardless of what some say, high doses of many vitamins and minerals can cause health issues). 3. However, it is an expensive way to get many of these nutrients compared to buying/consuming actual food. That said, many do not take the time to eat well so nice to have a natural option. 4. I have been taking this supplement (but only one per day) for about a month and have noted no negative side effects. There is no aftertaste and the tablets are easy to swallow. I take one tablet as my diet does provide a share of my needs. 5. The expiration date is 1.5 years out. Plenty of time to use the contents of a bottle. 6. Made in the USA by a highly respected company.

Each bottle of the Country Life organic multivitamins have 60 tablets in them. One serving is 2 tablets so this is a 30 day supply. I usually need to take my multivitamins with food every day or I get an upset stomach. That means I have to pack them in my food bag for work and take them at work when I finally eat. However, I can take these vitamins with no food at home before I leave for the day. Given that they are organic and literally made of food, they did not upset my stomach at all. The tablets were easy to swallow and had no weird taste or after effect for me. My bottle expires 1 1/2 years after received so the shelf life is long. These multivitamins are a bit on the expensive side but given that they are organic and so easy on the stomach I don't need to take with food, I feel like you are paying for what you get.

It says that it is a fermented whole food multivitamin. I know that some folks are very pro fermented foods and this may be just right for them. It has no herbs. Again, if you are looking for something like that then this may be right up your alley. Lots of extracts from fruits, mushrooms, vegetables and legumes all of which are USDA Organic according to the labeling. This contains a bunch of stuff...a bunch ton. Take a look at the ingredients and it's always a good idea to consult with your healthcare professional before you take this or any supplement.
