Such an amazing sweet vanilla. I layer it with all kinds of perfumes that I want to be sweeter but wear it by itself as well. Daughter loves to wear to school cause she smells like a vanilla cupcake and son always wants his blankie sprayed lol. If you aren't a sweet gourmand person you won't like it, and it does have a slightly artificial smell but to me I love that sort of thing. Lasts decent little amount of time being an edt, about couple of hours and sillage is few feet. Have bought few times and twice from this seller. Its authentic for sure which is always good to know and while the price of a small 30ml bottle is bit high, it's worth it and on par for this brand. Hope this helps!

I’ve bought this perfume many many times and it never disappoints. Such a lovely sweet vanilla scent. It smells a lot like the waffle ice cream cones being made.

Initially, yes I’ll agree it’s has a little play doh hit that my husband picked up on upon 1st spritz, however, immediately afterwards it develops into a comforting, warm, inviting scent that lofts through the room & invokes the feeling of a big hug 💞 This is a vanilla I feel would be appropriate worn ANY season as it isn’t cloying or heavy & could easily be layered with many other scent profiles. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat. Also for reference, I purchased from the actually Amazon storefront & I can attest that it is a legitimate bottle of the 30ML that looks & smells exactly the same as the bottle purchased from the actual Comptoir Sud Pacifique website!

Sort of like vanilla extract or vanilla cookie. Lasts all day, though lighter than when I first applied. Yum- makes me happy to wear this!

I love vanilla scents, and this Comptoir Sud Pacifique had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. I'll admit, at first I was not sure about this one. It goes on strong, and when I first spritzed it I got the dreaded "Play Doh" notes that other reviewers have mentioned. However, after a few subsequent uses, the smell seemed to shift for me and has since settled into smelling sweet and sugary, like fresh vanilla frosting or toasted marshmallows -- in fact, on separate occasions, I have had coworkers say I smelled like both of these. It's delicious! I now look forward to putting it on every day. The scent also has pretty decent lasting power (I still get whiffs by the end of the day) and mixes well with other sweet smells -- it has layered well when I tried it with vanilla and coconut lotions.I think the sweetness of the fragrance might be a little too cloying for warmer months, but it's really nice for fall and winter. I'm glad I gave it a try!

It smells like vanilla cupcake frosting. It's not a everyday perfume, but it does smell good.

I used this item for many years and it always came in a metal bottle. The scent lasted all day! This one came in a glass bottle and the scent doesn’t last more than a few mins?? It also smelled kind of like vanilla and plastic not like the original pure can vanilla! I’m pretty sure it’s a counterfeit. The box was not even wrapped in cellophane like it should have been. I’m bummed cause I loved this scent
