Beyblade X Official Winder Launcher for use with Beylade X Spinning Top Toys and Beystadium; Great Gift for 8 Year Old Boys and Girls

I got this winder launcher for my son, and he absolutely loves it. It fits perfectly with all his official Beyblade X tops—no weird compatibility issues like we’ve had with some of the ones from the starter kits. The build feels more solid too, and it definitely gives the tops a better, stronger launch compared to the ones that come in the basic sets. We haven’t picked up the handle yet, but it’s nice knowing that this launcher can support one when we do. Even without it, it’s been comfortable enough for my son to use during his epic living-room battles. And, honestly, I’ve given it a few tries myself…it’s kind of addicting when you get a good rip. If you’re on the fence about upgrading from the starter kit launchers, I’d say go for it. It’s made a noticeable difference in how well the tops perform, and my son’s been thrilled with it.

This is my favorite launcher to use when I'm playing with my kid. It's big enough for an adult hand. I straightened the zip cord with hot water, so it has a more gentle curve. Straight out of the pack, the curve is tight, and I've heard that teeth can get broken.

The pack-in launchers and winders of Beyblade X tops from Hasbro are quite tiny, even for a child’s hands, so this launcher could be a good investment for a Beyblade fan. Being much easier to hold, this launcher helps prevent Beyblades being mislaunched outside their stadiums and accidentally rubbing against – and possibly slightly hurting – fingers during play. As a bonus, this launcher is also fully compatible with Japan’s Takara Tomy Beyblade X launcher grip. The sole reason a star is removed from this review is that the winder in the package is bent on arrival, and while the winder is still usable in its bent state, and it’s also easier to hold than Hasbro’s pack-in winders bundled with tops, the bent winder may place unintended wear on the launcher, as the group World Beyblade Organization warns. There are winder-straightening tutorials online to help, with some hot water doing the trick, though the out-of the-box condition of the winder isn’t completely ideal.

These launchers work so well! We got two and both are perfect, I’d say even better than the launchers that fit the original bey blades since these have more room for grip. ** note** they can only be used with the X series
