A solid chair for the budget conscious sitter.
While this is not THE most comfortable chair, let's face it - if you sit for long periods, what chair IS? I bought this chair because I'm making a career change. I've returned to school and spend hours at my desk. At the age of 50, sitting for a long time with my nose pointed toward a book can be hard on the seat, back and neck. I looked at all kinds of office chairs and settled on this one, primarily because it was on sale, was in my budget and so I clicked the "Add to cart" button and hoped for the best. It was delivered, and I had to work that evening, and when I got home my 17-year-old son had assembled it. My theory on the simplicity of assembly can be deduced from that sentence above. He didn't have any extra parts left over and the chair was complete! I sat down. I leaned back. I shifted the lever that keeps the chair in an upright position and sat straight up. Okay! I can live with this. It has been almost two full months of using this chair and I have no problems. Pros: easy to assemble sufficient comfort level - adequate cushion in the seat can be leaned back or pop the lever in to stay straight up rollers on bottom headrest is adjustable affordable easy to clean arm-rests can be moved up or down height adjustment is self-explanatory - you'll figure it out the "lumbar" support is actually comfortable - it's "there" if you back up to it but if you scoot forward just a bit, you won't feel it if you don't want to sit like that Overall this seems like a chair that's going to last me for a few years, at least, and not fall apart. In the context of size, I'm not a small or extra larger person. I'm an average middle-aged woman with meat on the bones. The seat is plenty big enough. I would recommend this chair as an upgrade to the hand-me-down office chair that just isn't comfortable any longer.

A Mixed Bag of Comfort and Construction
As a big and tall individual in need of a comfortable and supportive office chair, I was eager to try out the SIHOO M18 Ergonomic Office Chair. While it offers some attractive features, my experience with this chair was a blend of convenience and discomfort due to a few notable issues. Firstly, the assembly process was a breeze. The chair was easy to build, and the instructions provided clear guidance, saving me time and frustration during setup. However, one significant drawback was the plastic armrests. While they looked sturdy, they exhibited sharp edges, likely a result of the manufacturing process. Unfortunately, this led to discomfort and scratched arms during extended periods of use. The sharp edges detracted from the overall ergonomic design, leaving me with concerns about the chair's long-term comfort. Moreover, the dips in the armrests proved to be a less-than-ideal design choice. These dips restricted arm placement options, allowing only a forward position rather than the flexibility to rest arms comfortably in the middle. This lack of adjustability hindered my ability to find a comfortable arm position during work, leading to arm fatigue and discomfort. On the positive side, the chair does offer some appealing features. The adjustable headrest and lumbar support provided decent comfort and helped maintain proper posture during long hours of work. The swivel tilt function was smooth and allowed for easy movement and adjustments to find a comfortable sitting angle. The PU wheels were a plus, as they rolled effortlessly on various surfaces, making it easy to move around the workspace without any hassle. In conclusion, the SIHOO M18 Ergonomic Office Chair offers a mix of convenience and discomfort. While the chair is easy to build and offers adjustable features like headrest and lumbar support, the sharp edges of the plastic armrests and the discomfort caused by the armrest design hinder the overall comfort of the chair. If you prioritize adjustability and easy assembly, this chair might still be worth considering, but be aware of the potential discomfort concerns, especially for extended use. *Update: A few days ago a member of the company reached out and offered to talk about my review via email and took full responsibility of the problems right off the bat and even after I returned the chair they offered to help me in more ways than I imagined. This level of customer satisfaction is commendable and rest assured while my issues may have been a one time fluke, this company will have your back and will work with you to make sure you’re completely satisfied!

Good medium priced office chair with a few problems
I bought this during Prime Days and got a good deal. I am not an expert on chairs, but I've bought about six office chairs in the last decade. These are good chairs. I would buy again. Pros: - reasonable price - comfortable for both my self and my wife - seat is large, good thigh support, and soft - adjustable arm rests, lumbar supports, head rest, and tilt stiffness - nice! - somewhat easy to assemble - the screws and parts are in a blister pack with a couple extra parts Cons: - rollers do not roll as easy as some chairs Assembly notes: - as a retired tech writer, I'll give the Assembly Guide a 70% - it's all illustrations and the illustrations are not large enough - the parts labels don't always match the assembly instructions - don't forget the washers - it's hard to see in the illustrations, but most bolts use them - the casters are difficult to install into the bottom frame - use a light coat of three-in-one oil on the caster stems and they will go in easily - it is difficult to attach the chair back to the seat - put both parts on the ground and concentrate on getting one bolt in, the others will be easy to get in

I am giving 4 star because the height is not high enough for me.

Very easy to setup and instructions were pretty simple to follow. Plus they have video instructions that you can scan on the manual to get. A VERY comfortable chair that lets you lie back and relax with ease. This is my first ergonomic chair ever, so I’m really impressed. Plus it’s a HUGE upgrade from the chair I had before (picture attached).

One of the nuts was completely loose in the seat. I will have to fix it myself.

Great value for money. Assembly is relatively easy but can be a bit confusing. The product is sturdy and provides ample support. Cushion may feel hard initially but settles well. Way better than many other brands that I have tried and gives comfort similar to Herman Miller chairs - unsure about durability. Only issue I have is with the headrest. It was too tight to go into the slots and I had to remove the holder to fit it. It is still a bit too tight to adjust easily.
