Classic Rover - The 1950s and '60s were the golden years for the company, famed for its solid and dependable image. Although Rover continued to build its traditional middle-class saloon models it was not afraid to experiment with new technology. In the mid-50's the company developed the worlds first gas-turbine (or "Jet" engined) cars and designed a mould breaking executive model for the 1960's, the Rover 2000. By the late 1960's the company had become part of what would later be known as "British Leyland". This print celebrates classic post-war Rover models, in the form of the P4, P5 and P6, produced between 1949 and 1977. With a rare blend of refinement, practicality and engineering quality, they represent something particularly British in a way that perhaps no other manufacturer's products do. Professionally printed and published exclusively by Golden Era this print forms part of our large range of classic motoring items. It is taken from original artwork and is printed on thick 250gsm paper. Order with confidence - our company was established in 1989 and our range consists of 500+ products.
