This really is a shame as it had the potential to be a good purchase.On arrival I was impressed by the look of the clock and was keen to get it working. I had read other reviews and so I had a magnifying glass handy to read the instructions which said lift the battery cover up. I noticed as soon as I tried to do this that the whole clock motor rotated in the clock face. Although it does have a moulded base to sit in, the base was only the same height as the motor assembly, allowing it to rotate out of the base.Undeterred I continued to slid the battery cover up, but with no success, it was then I realised that what the were trying to say was pull the cover away from the face. This worked although it was a tight fit. I installed that battery, set the switches to the right setting (using the magnifying glass to read the micro print instructions). put the clock on the shed roof for a clear signal and left it to get a radio signal.Regrettable an hour later it was still showing midday, so I used the manual set (press button to step the motor) to set the time and the hands moved OK showing the battery was good (well it was new so you never know). regrettable even after a manual set it still failed to move the hands. In the end I decided to give up and return the item, which was when I found out it is not a free return, I had to take it to a post office and fork out just under a fiver.Such a shame because it looks like a good product spoiled by poor quality control and saving money by cramming the instructions on one piece of paper

When in its prime it works faultlessly and extremely accurate.The casing is NOT 100% water / moisture proofAfter months the big hand had corroded so badly that it fell off !The accuracy of the temperature / humidity is poor and not to be relied upon !

I loved the look of the clock Great size and thought the features would be brilliant However we had 2 issues - the instructions on how to remove the battery cover say slide down when they actually mean pull off and more importantly it just didn't work Initially we set the time manually within 2 days it had gained 3 hours! We tried to reset it but it never went to 12 o'clock so we have had to return it. Such a shame

Worked well for a few months, but has now gone haywire. No matter how many times you change the battery or reset the thing, it only show the right time for a couple of weeks and then only shows the right time somewhere else in the universe. (But does't say where!) Nice clock as an ornament, but a pox on whoever wrote the instructions!

I could not recommend this clock AS A GARDEN WALL CLOCK. THE METHOD OF FIXING THE CLOCK AGAINST THE WALL IS NOT SECURE ENOUGH FOR IT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A WALL CLOCK AND WAS BLOWN OFF OUR WALL WITH THE FIRST ONSET OF STRONG WINDS AND WAS BROKEN IN SEVERAL PLACES INCLUDING THE GLASS FRONT. IT THEREFORE IS OF NO USE AS A WALL CLOCK. IT NEEDS REDESIGNING TO BE ABLE TO FIRMLY SECURE IT TO A GARDEN WALL.

was very pleased with the Clock and was exactly what we required, only one little problem no instructions so had to work it out how to set the time which sounds strange but was ok in the end
