These pens are very versatile, the colours are strong and they are great fun to use! They're much better quality than other brands of watercolour brush pens I've tried previously - I'd recommend these to anyone over other brands. The nibs on these pens are precise enough to do outlines and fine detail, the colours are vibrant and dry quickly so there's no risk of smudging. But blending the inks with water will give you a variety of beautiful tones ( I created the blue clouds on this drawing just from one pen! )Mixing the colours creates some really nice effects too, you can really have fun building up different tones if you use these pens on heavier watercolour paper. The bristled nibs are soft and but also resilient - they glide smoothly, and the fine point tip never loses shape even after using the pen for a long time.This 6 pack has a great selection of colours which can be blended to create more, but Craftamo also do a 12 pack of these pens which is great value. My item arrived quickly and was well packaged, and the little stickers you get in the pack of pens is nice bonus - I've put mine on my laptop :)

Love these pens, they're really fun and easy to use! I've previously tried another brand of watercolour brush pens, and was disappointed as they seemed to be dry & bristly, and when I added water the colours just really weakened. But these pens aren't like that, there's a really clear difference in quality! The pigments in these inks are really strong, and when you blend with water you can achieve a great variety of tones just from one pen alone. Ive never used this type of paint /pen/brush but allways wanted to try them and as i use craftamo paint brushes anyway i thought i would try the. I wanted to see if you really could use them like waterpaints and you can,They took me a little while to figure out best way for me but after a few while i am getting the hang of it and ive produced some pretty good efforts, all about the practice i suppose. First off i bought the small set and now my son "owns" them so i went and bought this bigger set for "me" . I would recomend this 12 set as you get different shades of the original colours so you get to make some lovely blends and shades.

I brought these as I'm quite new to water paints and as it said it has brush tips thought it would be a quick , clean , and easy way to practice, and it is exactly that. They don't need water so I can just sit on the sofa now and "paint"and the paint flows just right, they work well on normal paper but I use them on my watercolour paper pad and they look even more affective, I've also used water with them and it worked fine.My 5 year old son uses them with his colouring books as well now, so now I've brought the larger set my myself ( not for sharing this time ). Will defiantly be buying more when these these finally run out.

What a fantastic product! Those look like pen but are actually brushes and you can draw wide, narrow lines as you are pleased. The colours are great and the price is excellent! This is the second product I have bought from Craftamo and I will buy from them again! Thank you!

Really nice pens, these are the first of this type of pen that I've found to be truly brush like. Excellent range of colours, the colours layer which can create a nice effect. Packaging strong etc. Brilliant product, you should buy!!

Some had dried out, but added a little water and that worked for what I needed - but be careful as if you add too much water it leaks everywhere
