My plate carrier has been wearing down on my shoulders and traps. I bought these to help with that problem and I was not disappointed. I have used these through various training exercises and they still feel great just as they did when I first bought them. The color matched my gear. They are very versatile for different types of plate carriers, the gen II and III USMC. They function well and the Velcro is strong. The molle on top is also nice if you’d like to add anything up there such as a TQ. The size fits and feels great.

Total game changer from the flimsy pads that came with my carrier. Instant comfort, straps no longer dig into my shoulders from the weight. 10/10 recommend!

These make a massive difference. They are just wide enough to disperse the weight. The mesh makes them breath and it doesnt collaps like most other mesh.

Purchased these to replace the original shoulder pads that came with my plate carrier. They are a lot more comfortable than the originals. The padding is durable, and the padding will not slip on your shoulders. However, if you have Velcro on the plate carrier shoulder straps, like mine does, they will slide on the main straps as these do not have Velcro to hold them in place. They also do not come with a tube tamer strap for a hydration pack. I made my own (yellow circle). If they would have come with the Velcro tube tamer, and Velcro for the strap I would be giving 5 stars. I would buy again if needed as it is hard to find decent shoulder pads with good durability. I looked at all the other shoulder pads and I could only find 2 with a tube tamer, but none looked as comfortable or durable. Great comfort for the traps. Enables longer periods of usage of plate armour.

The “wings” on these pads were to small. I was unable to use their Velcro strip to fasten these to the shoulder straps without using zip ties. The zip ties tend to permit the pad to move and the zip ties are comfortable. My weight vest is the MIR brand.

One of the worst things about loading up your rig is all that weight on your shoulders. These pads alleviate a lot of that weight by distributing the load over a larger surface area and has a fair amount of padding. Get a pair, you won’t regret it..!

I should have got these sooner. I rock steel 3A+ plates from Tacitcon Armament, got an insane deal for plates and rig but they had a shoulder retainer but no pad. I've been wearing the vest when i work on my yard and when i do cardio and the weight of steel slowly wears down on your shoulders and digs in. NOT WITH THESE BAD BOYS! I could sleep in my kit easily now. It went from my shoulders burning in 4 to 6 hours to needing probably a good 2 days of constant rough wear to bite in significantly. From the pictures i feared it would be too small to wrap around my shoulder pads but when you get them they are much bigger than the picture, they don't slide around at all they are very secure. The only thing is the black pad part is not as soft as you'd think, but you can probably lotion or wear it to the point where it softens up but upon getting them right away they are fairly rough but it makes them secure better it's fine. The surface area that it rests on your shoulders is a significant difference. 20/10 for the price.

bought these because the 30lb vest I bought was designed poorly and did not have shoulder pads. these are perfect to cushion the weight. very well made and appear durable. The velcro is the strongest I have ever seen.

Es muss ja nicht immer ein Rucksack sein. Wir hatten einen Umzug ins 4. OG ohne Fahrstuhl zu bewältigen. Da meine Schwachstelle die Arme sind, hatte ich die Idee, das Gewicht der Kisten/Boxen/Kartons auch auf meine Schultern zu verteilen. Diese beiden Polster und ein Spanngurt - tadaa! Irgendwann hat mein Liebster sie sogar geklaut, weil er auch etwas Entlastung wollte. Auch im Nachhinein jetzt sehr praktisch, wenn z.B. Mal eine schwere Einkaufstasche nach oben muss, deren Riemen sonst ja gerne einschneiden. Der Klettverschluss hält Bombe und das Polster dämpft angenehm und verteilt den Druck. Klare Empfehlung!
