Why did you choose this product over others?: Good sturdy table , makes a good size for special occasions when extended and perfect for two when not. Easy to assemble just need to put the legs on.

Legs were easy to assemble to the main frame
A solid well finished table in oak. Legs were easy to assemble to the main frame. The locking mechanism for the extending top requires some getting used to and the fillet needs to be wiggled to interlock correctly. Apart from these small issues, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Fantastic Table
Fantastic table. Great quality product and very well finished. Delivery was quick and easy and the table took about half an hour to build. Chunky legs with a solid feel. 2 clips under the table on each side make extending the table quick and easy. I would recommend this table and buy from this seller again.

Checked second one very carefully and it is pretty much perfect
First table arrived with a long scratch along the top. Seller exchanged with no quibble but obviously that was a pain. Checked second one very carefully and it is pretty much perfect. Extending mechanism is solid but takes a bit of jiggling to get in place, so a bit awkward. But the finish is lovely, true to the picture and I am delighted. I think it is very good value (I paid £300) but do note it is slightly narrow compared to some dining tables, so check the measurements before you purchase. I am delighted with this gorgeous oak table and have had compliments from visitors already.

sub standard table not solid oak
After first delivery which was damage, replacement sent which was also damaged (extension part was chipped and grooves on main table lacking varnish ) looks like a foreign import , not built by UK craftsmen . Also legs not solid oak as described but blocked wood thickly veneered by oak .

Fab table for money. A beautiful heavy oak table
The picture does not do it justice. The oak looks fab with its different coloured graining, well constructed and not light in anyway. Worth every penny. I have never purchased furniture on line before and would be more than happy to buy from oak furniture king. First table delivered had a few faults so was replaced without any problems. Would buy again from oak furniture king. We'll done!
