Product Description This stunning and unique cylindrical lightshade is handcrafted from start to finish using lokta.Industry standard rigid PVC backing is used on a coated frame.The lokta design and effect is created by applying wax to the natural lokta paper and then dried in the shade. Once dry, the paper is dyed the in the base colour with a natural dye - to stunning effect! The light shines though the pattern when lit, and is an attractive paper in its own right when unlit.Lokta is a 100% sustainable resource as it is made from the bark of a plant which grows high in the Himalayas.
