These traditional 100% cotton seersucker table cloths are the perfect practical choice for your dining room table, helping to protect it against spills and stains. These checked table cloths are available in a wide variety of different shades and sizes. For best results, these tablecloths should be rinsed in cold water before the first wash and then washed at a maximum temperature of 40c. If they are washed at a higher temperature this may cause them to shrink dramatically. There may be some transfer of colour to the pale background at first. This is not colour bleeding but excess dye which should wash out after a few washes. The tablecloth should therefore be washed separately 3 times. Lovely, quality item - perfectly shabby chic.
I looked everywhere online for a round tablecloth to suit my shabby chic/coastal theme and was about to give up when I found this. Not only was it made from cotton, but it had colour in it too! The table cloth was delivered well before the initial estimate given when I purchased it, and thanks to Amazon's efficient tracking service, I was home when it was delivered. I was looking for a plain colour, but am very happy with this design; it's even better than the photo. It's well made from good quality fabric and it has a lovely weighted feel to it. It's perfect for a casual setting but if you wanted it for a more formal look, then a starched runner or fabric coasters on the top will do the trick. I like this so much, I'm thinking about ordering the blue one too.

The colour in these tablecloths WILL RUN!
I bought these tablecloths on behalf of our church group and was horrified to find all the colours had run when I washed them before using. On looking at the labels it says that they need to be washed 3 TIMES!!! before you use them. In this day and age of modern fibres, surely this is unacceptable. We paid over £70.00 for these cloths which are a huge disappointment. Sorry.

Fits a very small square table, attractive, washes well shrunk a small amount but although one is warned the colour does run not into the tablecloth but other white washing, it apparently needs washing three times before the dye stops running it does say in the instructions and it was my fault I didn't read them

Good size and colour
This was just the size for my kitchen table and the shade of blue I wanted. It washes well with no shrinkage nor is much ironing needed; I just iron the hem.

Great tablecloth. Looks smashing on the garden table - lovely colour and material. Looks more expensive than it is. Bought a couple of clips to hold it in place. Very happy
