Excellent foundational study bible for anyone, not just new to the faith. If you want full study notes, just get the NKJV full color study bible. I like this one because the notes don’t get in your way. I have other bibles that have full notes, and including instantaneous digital access to anything and everything. Think of the foundation study bible as a hybrid between a full study bible and a text only reading bible! So you get some great foundational info and text in large print and the Bible is still a decent size to carry or pack! I appreciate the short book introductions, decent cross references, and excellent footnotes that are separate and easy to find (one of my favorite things about this bible. And I like the large print for both the Bible text and the notes. And I really appreciate the well done red letter text. The text is line matched with decent space between the lines. Since it’s double columned, it’s easy to read without losing your place as your eyes go to the next line. It has sewn binding and lays flat. If you want the highest quality paper and binding, then I recommend buying a $100 - $300 bible. However, this bible cost me $25 and is my low cost premium Bible. Very happy with it and not worried if it gets dinged up naturally with regular use. I can always rebind it or buy it again for $25.

We love this Bible. The study notes are really helpful and accurate to other resources we have. The King James Version is a very accurate and because this is the new king James it is easy to read. Print is a good size.

This Bible is one of my favorites! The sleek soft cover makes it easy to use and to carry with you wherever you go. I personally have purchased this Bible many times to send into prisons and gift to people trying to understand the Scriptures. The maps are very nice, and the large print makes it very comfortable to read. I highly recommend this Bible for anyone as a gift, a ministry or for your own studies. Great Bible for any occasion
