Homestyles Naples Headboard, King (U.S. Standard), Off-White

We had been looking for some time to find an off-white king headboard that would come to close to our bedroom furniture. When we found this item on Amazon and many of the reviews said it was of an ivory color, we figured we would it give it a try. It arrived in about three days and we found the color was almost a perfect match. Assembly was fairly easy, the only issue was that the screw heads could have been better machined for to fit the included allen wrench. I found using my own tools worked better. Also, the pre-drilled holes on the legs didn't quit match to our bed frame, but it was and easy fix by adding rubber coasters under the frame legs. Overall, we are very pleased and would definitely recommend this product.

Looked for a long time for a off white headboard, and this is perfect. The height is just right, and the color matches the rest of my furniture. Built well, with real solid wood.

The headboard is beautifullll and easy to assemble !!!!I must say when opening the box I started to noticed the chemical smell but didn't pay it no mind, because I already said it will come with a strong chemical smell from what I read. So fast forward twenty minutes later I noticed the smell is now in the bedroom, I knew it was the headboard from other reviews, I went to Google and it said to open a box of baking soda to absorb the smell and to Lysol the headboard. Once doing what goggle said the smell is completely gone off the headboard and out the room.Removed one star for the strong chemical smell

The headboard arrived very well packaged with no damage from shipping. Putting it together was fairly easy but there was some issues with the holes lining up properly. This resulted in a slight opening between two of the boards. Luckily it doesn't show because of the bedding and pillows.Seems to be very sturdy and well built. It is gorgeous on our bed. The finish is very smooth and has a nice sheen to it. I feel like the headboard will last. It's a heavy piece of furniture for sure. Can't tell for sure if it's solid wood or a furniture grade composite and I'm not going to scrap some finish off to see, lol.For the price, this is an outstanding buy and we recommend to anyone. You will definitely love the way it looks in your room.

I have been looking for headboards that cost over a thousand dollars, trying to match my Stickley bedroom set. And then I realized that it was kind of 'old school' to feel like I had to match my existing furniture. A headboard does not have to match your set! When I had that epiphany, I had SO many options!! I ended up getting this antique-white headboard, to go with the beautiful ivory-hued coverlet set that I had just purchased for my bed. WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This headboard is well-made, heavy and beautiful!! AND SO REASONABLY PRICED!!! I would recommend this headboard to anyone!! As a side note, if I get tired of it in the future, I can paint it and change the hue for the entire room!

THIS IS NOT WHITE. We purchased a whole set of this line to match the white chair rail in our guest room... only to find out that, in fact, it is a very far cry from the true white of our accents. Fortunately, it works fine in the room anyway because of other colors... but it is a very nice off-white or ivory color and this was not reflected clearly in the product description.The Good:-The 5530 Home Styles set is perfect for our guest room. We love it.-It took 2 people only about 10 minutes to assemble. Very easy.The Not-So-Good:-The assembly was slightly annoying due to a hex wrench being used for most of the screws.-The holes to attach to the bed frame do not line up with our frame. We have a Queen frame and a Queen mattress, and a Queen headboard. These should go together. Because of this, we had to simply lean it against the wall until we have time to drill holes ourselves, or try to find a new frame that will hopefully fit. Without this flaw, I would have ranked it 4/5.

We received this headboard yesterday and my husband put it together. He said the assembly was pretty easy but it arrived with a 4” scratch which really shows up on the black. We left for about 3 hours and when we returned, the house had a really strong chemical smell that was awful. We went into the bedroom and it was so strong it was affecting our breathing so we had to sleep upstairs.Today we closed the bedroom door and opened the windows for about 8 hrs even though it’s 30° outside. It seemed to of helped but when we arrived home about four hours later, it was so strong that we could smell it as soon as we walked in. So needless to say, we will be sleeping upstairs again.This really is a nice looking headboard but we are very disappointed with the issues we’re having. If this doesn’t clear up in the next couple days I am going to have to figure out how to send this back.Btw… plywood and pressed wood are known to offgas Formaldehyde which definitely can raise some health concerns especially when the odor is so strong.
