Once you figure out what goes where this is a great sling! Be sure and measure for size. We switched to this one because a regular sling put too much pressure on my husband's neck. This one helps to alleviate that problem! The 'spacer' included was not helpful - luckily it comes off. Beware the videos showing how easy these are to put on and take off. After shoulder replacement you will need someone to put this on and take it off you - you can't move your arm for weeks and the videos are laughable because of that!

This is so much better than the sling my doctor gave me for post surgery. Saves my neck from having problems with the original sling. My physical therapist highly approves of this sling. There is one drawback, my arm does sweat in the sling. So it performs best when wearing long sleeves or, we have started putting material between my arm and the sling. Still wouldn't go back to the old sling - this is 100% worth it.

This is so worth it. A great value and such a nessesity. I had total shoulder replacement and the abduction sling the hospital sent me home in just killed my neck and shoulder. This model saved me.Three-months later, I’m about to have the other shoulder replaced, and will bring this with me to the hospital to use again. I love that it can be set up for either side.Totally worth it!Was very impressed with the ergonomic design.So happy!

I selected this product mainly for the inclusion of the pillow, and for backpack like strap that does a good job keeping the shoulder strap away from my neck. The strap that goes under the arm also keeps the injured arm in the proper position. All good so far. The production quality seems very good.As I'm experiencing it, one improvement would be to have some cushioning under the O ring that lies in the middle of the back. It can become uncomfortable when resting in a recliner for a period of time, as I am recovering from shoulder surgery. It would also be good if the pillow were softer, maybe memory foam.It's fine as is when upright or. walking around, but uncomfortable when sleeping, as I've been instructed to do. My solution has been to remove that pillow and replace it with a similar thickness throw pillow at night. Although my arm stays in place pretty well, it would also be nice to optional straps to go between the thumb and the other fingers.

This sling took the strain off of my neck and was adjustable in many spots, making it super comfy. The straps lay flat across the back, so it’s easy to sleep in.

I had rotator cuff repair surgery and I had to wear a sling and abductor 24/7 for five weeks.The one issued from the hospital was uncomfortable because the strap dug into my neck. I ordered this one online which harnessed around my body, and it was really so much more comfortable for a very uncomfortable situation..I highly recommend this product

I loved the concept taking the weight off your neck, but if you've had surgery you need the support of the strap lifting your arm. Stick with what your surgeon gave you.

I am 5 foot 7 and 141 pounds. Unfortunately, this sling was too long for my arm in a medium, which is the smallest size I saw. If you are taller than 5’ 7” it might work for you.The material wasn’t as comfortable as the sling my surgeon’s office gave to me, but I liked that it took the pressure off your neck. I would’ve kept it if it hadn’t been too big for me.
