As others have complained, and I believe is valid, these are not "extension cables." That would imply you simply plug them in one end and plug the other end in and you have completed the circuit. You can make them an "Extension" but you need to complete the wiring. The fact that these were pigtails delighted me because I was going to need to cut one apart and switch two of the wires so behaved differently as, apparently my scooter is not wired like others or there are at least two configurations. Now as for the thin wire: I can't evaluate that because the wire of the scooter electronics may also be as thin and this is only activating a relay for the accelerator switch. For a charging wire, this might be the wrong product to pick. With my application, the scooter achieved full acceleration as speed as compared to the other accelerator switch so it was carrying the signal just fine. Solder vs crimping. I love to solder but I have trained myself away from solder with these thin wires and often they have aluminum wire that just does not accept solder. I use "Non-insulated butt connectors" and some heat shrink tubing. You will have a much better outcome and a reliable connection.

The package has several complete sets. Both the male and female plugs. I needed to fix a light on an electric bike and these plugs fit perfectly with the factory plugs so I would say 100% compatible. The connection is tight and seals nicely. I have no doubt they will keep moisture out. I Do Not know if they are submersible. The quality appears to be equal to the original, no concerns to be noted so far. Functions as expected. The diameter of the whip was slightly smaller than the original. Got to me quickly.

These are not extensions they are a set of male and female pigtails. Not a big deal but don't buy thinking there is a male on one end and a female on the other and one solid cable. Also the pinout on the cables is very odd and non-standard. Like the other person posted the pinout does not follow convention. I needed this for a throttle mod/replacement on a ActBest ebike. It came with a thumb throttle and my son wanted a full twist Surron throttle and I had to change the connector. If you are doing this mod also and are using a genuine Surron throttle then the wiring goes as follows... Throttle: Brown (Power+) -> Pigtail: Black Throttle: Black (Negative -) -> Pigtail: Yellow Throttle: Blue (Signal) -> Pigtail: Red *The wiring above works with a genuine Surron Light Bee X throttle. If you buy a knockoff Surron throttle off of Amazon or anywhere other than Surron directly the wiring color from the throttle may be different.
