I have quite the story to share of why at just 23 years old I take a supplement as powerful as this, and how it helps me in such marvelous ways. 5 months ago, I was prescribed ciprofloxacin for an infection. I took just 1 pill and it caused a horrible chain reaction throughout my body known as fluoroquinolone toxicity. I am 23 years old and I felt like I had suddenly become 80, and this is no exaggeration, I was lucky to not become paralyzed or have my achilles tendons rupture as is known to happen. As the few doctors I went to had no knowledge of this disease or how to treat it, I had to tackle it myself with the help of the thousands of others available in online support groups, also forced to tackle it themselves. I steadily built up a regimen of recommended supplements to overcome the tendon pain, brain fog, peripheral neuropathy, and many other symptoms. Through my research I found that fluoroquinolones can drastically reduce natural glutathione supply through mitochondrial dysfunction releasing reactive oxygen species (ROS). I had built up many other antioxidants into my regimen, including Pterostilbene also from Double Wood. All of these helped me greatly, but none helped me as much as the S-acetyl L-glutathione. This supplement has completely turned this disease around for me, reducing symptoms and their frequency greatly. I had previously tried NAC, whey protein, and liposomal glutathione as alternative therapies, but they did not perform nearly as well. With this supplement, I see much better results and have absolutely gotten rid of my peripheral neuropathy, brain fog, dry skin, fatigue, and and many other symptoms. As fluoroquinolone toxicity is basically advanced aging due to reactive oxygen species attacking the body constantly, I can say that for me this is truly the ultimate anti-aging pill. The benefits over liposomal glutathione as I understand them - the acetyl group is attached to the sulfur atom of cysteine which protects all of the glutathione from digestion and allows it to get naturally deacetylated in the cells. This means that the sulfur-carrying amino acids cannot be broken up, which protects against glutamate/GABA balance issues (NAC and liposomal glutathione excited my peripheral neuropathy, where this does not) and genetic sulfur sensitivity. Anyone who feels like they are just getting too old too fast (joint pain, dry skin, mental issues, fatigue), I would highly recommend this supplement. As a second anti-aging recommendation, I would include Double Wood's Pterostilbene combined with nicotinamide riboside, which has been proven to increase NAD+ levels in a study titled "Repeat dose NRPT increases NAD+ levels in humans safely and sustainably".

Pretty amazing! I came into trying this form of Glutathione with low expectations. I had just had a bad experience with Liposomal Glutathione, which smelled like dog excrement and upset my stomach lining. Literally the first day of trying this on my 2nd 100mg dose, that was within 45 minutes of the last, I noticed a rush of positive energy and boosted mood. So I am very happy with the quality and effectiveness of this form of Glutathione. I look forward to not only increased energy, but improved skin, reduced heavy metal toxins, reduced risk of Cardiovascular Disease(runs high on my paternal side), and whatever else that may come. I’ve already put this on auto ship once a month, with a twice daily dose. 200mg seems to be the sweet spot for my body weight and metabolism. So thank you double woods for offering such a high quality and fairly economical S S-Acetyl Glutathione supplement! Update: I tried the “Pure Therapro Rx: Glutathione Gold”, which is the patented enteric coated s-acetyl Glutathione. It’s potency was much weaker than Double Wood’s sourced material. Firstly, the Pure brand’s bottle when opened, doesn’t even smell of Glutathione, like Double Woods. Even opening the capsule and smelling the powder up close, yielded hardly any sulfur smell. I also never experienced the same boost in energy and mood across my whole body, like the DoubleWood’s version. I will never stray from DWs again! Update TWO: I highly recommend starting off with just One capsule daily, on an empty stomach, in the mornings. You can gradually build up to the dosage that best fits your body chemistry. I started having a couple Sulfur side-effects, from taking too much daily. I had increased sulfur smelling gas and a mild headache, from taking too much for my system to handle initially. I still was and still am, having great benefits, but you have to tailor the dosage that best fits your body. What I have been doing, is taking One capsule every other day, now that my Glutathione levels have built up. Just One, 100mg vegetarian capsule per day, was great for me initially, but an every other day routine, is working best for my bodies chemistry. Not everyone handles Sulfur containing compounds well and some not at all. So please start off slow, by trying a 100mg capsule daily for about a week, then adjust the dosage that best fits you. Before trying Double Wood I tried a strong liposomal l-glutathione and found it very hard on my stomach. This product had less in it and I'd heard that it would be easier to use. It was! I have to admit to a little burning - usual to any naturally sulfuric supplement - but had already learned that taking molybdenum could help this. The feeling was so mild I didn't bother. I just took some extra vitamin C to help boost the benefits, and the burning went away! I have a possibly personal response to glutathione. At first I feel very tired. Then about an hour? later, I'm up and running. And I do mean running! I've had chronic fatigue and autoimmune issues for years, with MTHFR gene mutation ( the reason for the initial crash? ), and nothing has every touched how smoothly I can keep going than Glutathione! Caffeine maybe, but it is stressful in comparison. Also, my decision-making power and stamina is phenomenal. When trying the liposomal, I found my body going over-kill. The next day, or even a week, I had to recuperate and couldn't take any more. With Double Wood , I felt the same energy and brain power. I did not take it the next day. It was like any other decent day, no crash.....except I think I felt a little better than usual! I may not have to take this all the time, but I love knowing that I could, and that it improves life over-all! I love Double Wood's commitment to quality. It's as good as my other perscription-grade supplements from my doctor, and I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone. Try glutithione for a multitude of healing issues: bloodsugar and daibetes not the least of these. Anyone with a chronic condition is likely low in it, with a body struggling to keep up. Glutathione is the Master Antioxidant, helping utalize all the others . I have Fibromyalgia -type issues and electrolytes and glutathione make me feel Human! I found this product easy to take and effective.

I've been using it for a long time, and the effect was certain, but the price is a little high. It's good to eat when you're tired. Better than other liposomal

Quality product for immunity

At first i didn't notice anything from taking this product but now that I've been taking it for a bit over a month I don't think I ever want to go without it again. There have been several things that I've noticed: The first is it seems to have had an overall improvement in brain functioning. My moods feel more stable, I feel more focused and likely to seek out tasks to complete, comprehension and problem solving skills remind me more of when I was younger and I'm not even that old yet at 38, and quality of sleep has improved as well. The next thing I've noticed that was unexpected is I've been suffering from ever increasing acid reflux to the point I was about to start taking a medicine on the regular, now it seems to have all but gone away, no more up at night suffering. Most of my life I've been blessed with good skin, no allergies, rarely irritated, only minor acne, over the years I started having more and more issues which hit their peak after having to have trigger point injections in my back last year. The injections caused horrible acne all over my back and shoulders which had gotten better the more time that had gone by since the injections but the problem persisted with their always being at least a few spots on my back of cystic style acne, and I figured I was going to be stuck dealing with it through dermatologists. I have been using this for over 2 years. It has helped greatly with my skin. If you really wanna see this work fast, use it with 2000mg Vit C daily. Vit C makes it get absorbed and multiply in the body or it won't work as much. Glutathione has many benefits in the body.
