Lovely quality leather and arrived very quickly, but the clip is rubbish! I bought this for my working assistance dog. I was in Tesco (everyone doing last minute Christmas shopping, so it was heaving!). I turn round and find myself holding a lead with no dog on it! Clip had just come off on first day using it. She is a trained dog, so didn’t go anywhere thankfully. Same thing then happened again when walking down pavement. If dog was spooked or anything, she could have gone in the road! Made me very wary about using it in future.

Listing said it was 40cm long but its nearer 90cm. I wanted a short lead because my dog is tall. I like the lead I was sent, its comfortable to use a strong but it's a bit of a nuisance to have to wrap it around my wrist 3 or 4 times to get the length I wanted. Perhaps vendor will check size and listing text carefully in future?

This is a very nice and attractive item. The leather is of top quality and thick yet comfortable in one's hand. The stitching is also all and more than one could demand, no cheap yarn here. The clasp is stronger than most and of a nice design. It can be used in a variety of ways, directly attached to a harness or collar or to lengthen a shorter lead. Highly recommended.

Certainly helps me to keep our Mutant Mega Golden Retriever under control; when you have a dog that can exert forces in excess of those generated by the engines of the space shuttle, you need a strong lead … and this fits the bill! Also looks smart and feels sturdy.

Good quality with a very strong clasp and an ideal length for a medium sized dog. Mine is strong and doesn't like cars so I need something I can trust for the short periods he is near traffic.
