These tiles are not very realistic and feel like foam. From a distance they are okay or to use them to line under sink cabinets. These are good to protect the walls or save yourself some time painting dirty under sink cabinets. These install with a sticky back side and are easy to cut. I try to start with a full row going vertically up making sure all the lines are straight and even. I would not install these in highly visible areas or where people can touch them.
