First, these are relatively old KZ models. There are many IEMs at this price range that sound amazing. That being said, these still sound really good. I have the Pro X version of these, and these sound better to me. I believe the Pro X has the same setup with one dynamic driver and one balanced armature. Side-by-side, the tuning is very similar, but these have less upper treble, making them sound more relaxed in comparison.The build quality is very solid and the included tips are nice. The cable is bottom of the barrel kz so I'd upgrade that for sure. Overall these have a neutral bright tuning just borderline on the treble whereas the X version is a bit too bright.

If you are looking for sound a bit nicer than the 12 pairs for 11 dollar variety (which, if you have a loved one who is covering for sensitivity issues in public places and who fidgets their cables, cheap is the way to go), these are an excellent value. My husband and son are neurodivergent and have crazy great ears (pitch, acuity - just preternatural). They both really like these for everyday use. They both have small ear canals and think these are comfortable.My son, the fidgeter, goes through them pretty fast. You can replace the cable. You can also replace the buds. So it's better than paying twice as much for stuff you can't fix.My husband, the recording engineer, appreciates the range and clarity, along with the comfort.This pair was one I got for myself, and I have to agree with them on performance and value.
