I like his straightforward, no waffle, get on with it style. Been watching his YouTube videos for some time and respect his advice and suggested exercises. Bags of advice and suggestions for diy keep fit oldies like me. Money well spent.

Includes everything you need to know to keep mobile and strong
I came across Will Harlow's YouTube channel recently and have already benefitted from following his exercise videos since fracturing a couple of vertebrae a few months ago and being diagnosed with severe osteoporosis. This book includes so much that will specifically help my recovery and also show me the exercises I need to do on a regular basis to keep fit and mobile as I age...and all with natural strategies! It's written with clear instructions and illustrations, and in short easy to digest sections. It's excellent!

Excellent book for all of us !
This is such a good buy as not only is it extremely useful but it is so easy to read and follow.Well laid out sections, good photographs where relevant and links to his You Tube videos - all of which are free !An excellent resource from a respected clinician and physiotherapist.Worth every penny !

Wise words
I have only just received this updated book but I have been following Will Harlow’s YouTube clips for a while and have found his advice and exercises very easy to follow. Likewise his book is an easy read and well illustrated. I have never been a gym bunny or played sport but my efforts to keep trim and healthy need more impetus now that I have turned 70. I have been going to Circuit classes which help and amazingly follow a lot of the exercises that Will recommends. The book is a very useful bible of simple exercises that most can do to keep themselves active. If I were to point out one issue that can catch up with us without us really realising is a deterioration in balance. The strengthening exercises that are illustrated in the book are a great means to help.

Brilliant book
I absolutely loved this book when I got it.Everything is laid out so clearly and consicely and is a great resource to use along with Will's excellent videos on YouTube.And don't bother about the idea of it being for the over fifty's ! I'm 75 myself and it given me a new boost of energy and a confidence about going forward in regard to being able to look after myself. It's a book for anyone who wants the best advice as to how to treat their aches and pains and, more importantly, how to prevent them. Heading off hiking now: just go and buy the book, you'll be glad you did.

A helpful book.
The book has many straightforward exercises that can be done at home, covering lots of different physical areas of reduced or lost mobility. Coupled with the author's video channel, it is easy to build a personal home routine

This book is a must, a treasure .
The book is well planned ,very clear ,and accompanied by pictures of positions to adopt for each exercise .Each chapter is devoted to different health problems and the exercises needed to improve/ eliminate them. You can also use the short cut and go straight to the list of the exercises with subheading as to what problem the exercise is designed for . I am extremely pleased with my purchase 😀 .

My "bible"
This is a fantastic book. I am 67 and have this book by my side all the time. Will Harlow explains everything so well and the exercise illustrations are so clear and concise. This book complements his YouTube channel so well. This is as good if not better than his previous book which l have also read. If you suffer with painful joints you must get this book. Life really starts at 50 if you follow the advice and exercises given in this book. I should know...l am benefitting from it more than l thought.

Invaluable to Leading a Long, Healthy, Pain-Free Life
I’m 70 years old. i’ve been using Will Harlow’s videos since May, which have been invaluable in allowing me to self-heal from injuries, build mobility, strength, and endurance, and live pain-free and painkiller-free. This book mirrors and consolidates the info in the videos, and I highly recommend it for its concise instructions and advice and clear illustrations/photos.If he weren’t a physiotherapist, Will could have been a superb teacher. He clearly explains — in both the videos and this book — human anatomy and how/why the different exercises work. The explanations and demonstrations are easy to understand, simple to follow, and provide profound results in health, fitness, and quality of life.Will and his videos and books are godsends, for which I am profoundly grateful every minute of every day in which I can now move freely, easily, and without pain or painkillers. From sweeping to washing dishes to driving to walking, I again enjoy all life's little everyday tasks.

Will Harlow’s exercise advice is sound, conservative & effective.
I personally benefited a great deal from will Harlow’s exercise recommendations . His tutorial videos helped me strengthen my core to resume jogging & weights . Would highly recommend his book & videos

Excellent book by Will Harlow and full of knowledge for the Over 50's.
Since i just received the Book I've only read a few chapters so cannot comment yet. But from what I've read so far, it's exceptional knowledge for the Over 50's.
