I use this a lot, almost any time I have a big trip out of the house. I love recording simple daily visual diaries for myself with the mini camera or setting it up in the car to record time lapses of the road. The options for how you can use this camera are genuinely limitless. The camera itself is great! Sure there are some higher definition cameras out there but none that can do as much as this. Strap it to your shirt for a hands free recording of your day or maybe set it up for a star lapse of the night! I like strapping the mini camera to my backpack with the clip and keeping the camera device in my pocket and clicking photos when I see something, no need to whip out the phone or set anything up, just press the top button of the camera in your pocket while the detatchable camera itself is set up. It’s so easy to use and there’s so many ways to use it. During regular videos the stability is genuinely mind boggling, even while running around and tripping on curbs the video itself comes out so smooth. My only issue is the battery life, sadly with electronic devices they have electronic limits, but the only limit I have experienced with this is the battery time. You can keep it outside with star lapse mode all night if you keep it hooked up to power but on its own, using just the mini camera it will die pretty quickly while recording with good quality. I recommend bringing a battery pack or two if you go out with the intention of using the camera a lot, also give it time to cool off while it’s charging or after since it can get pretty warm. While this isn’t the camera itself I must leave a bonus shoutout to the insta360 editing app. Extremely easy to use and extremely easy to get used to. Sadly you can only include one video, otherwise I’d have hundreds included. The photos are clear and nice. While some have the logo you can save the images and videos to your phone without the watermark if that is a concern of yours, I just included them in some photos for the proof of genuineness.

I use it to take video clips mainly for Facebook (York Homestay) and although I am still not completely au fait with it, I am enjoying using it and improving. It's small, light. I also use it with the magnetic neck clip to run with and have got some good video of that too. I love that you can take it off and clip it to a metal post and video yourself running too. One thing to note is that using it when it's raining is not great. It needs a good or something because the lens gets wet.

Great little camera. Bought this to try vlogging and capturing holiday moments. Perfect for the shy vlogger! Discreet and the magnetic detachable pod is super handy! Battery life could be longer on the mini pod but given its size can’t complain, and as soon as you put it into the man body it starts charging straight away and that battery life is super! Offers great 4K picture quality as well as lowers depending on your needs! Super value for money especially with the discount at the moment.

One of the best bullet camera, compact in size and world class 4k video quality. The accessories included are very useful and the magnetic pendent is the best thing ever for making my mountain bike footages. It does get hot while charging and recording, the limit of 30 mins recording time (without the case on) is the biggest let down. I got a few times the charging was automatically stopped due to heat built up in these heat waves, not ideal but it is more of annoyance than deal breaker. It was a good camera till the required software update. It goes to a an update loop once you turn it on that you cant stop. Contacted tech support and they want to get it to repair. They cant fix the loop update issues. The item just lasted 2days only. Then have to return it due to this unfixable issue. Edit: They offered me a discount of an upgraded product and also had accessories to go with it. Which is very nice and generous of them after all the issues. This is kind of support should be in every product here in amazon. Other than that, i'd have to change it to 5s stars for making up to the issue and for providing the full and immediate support that I need. I really wanted to love this. It was easy to set up, download the app and it connects easily. however, whilst charging it overheated pretty quickly. it was a worrying sort of heat. anyway i proceeded to using it after it cooled down and again it heated up really quickly. I am not sure whether my one is faulty or not. I really do like the concept of it though because it comes with a magnetic lanyard that you can stick it on and walk around taking videos and you can take photos with it. So easy that even my son is able to use it. I love that you have a monitor to see what's being captured which is so much better than a Go pro. The resolution is high and so clear. What a shame!

I received this as my main christmas present and it's exactly what I wanted for a camera. I got it mainly for horse riding as a sense of security when i'm hacking out on roads but the quality is amazing and it's great that it transfers any videos onto my phone. I use 2.7k and 25fps for hacking and it does the job and has a great battery life, I can just pop it into the action pod if I need it recharging which is easy and practical. It's light and durable and i don't have to worry about the small camera being damaged by rain as it is waterproof and the audio picks up sounds and what i need it to which is great + great motion/stability even on medium. Highly recommend and will also be using it for my next trips abroad 👍🏻

The software is terrible. You cannot add an external camera - DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM IT IS RUBBISH

*** Revised Review *** My initial review is below. Read before my revised review. Disclaimer: I have taken the time to update my review after using the insta360 go 3s with a battery pack. This means purchasing an additional accessory is required. As outlined on my initial review, the device on its own has a few flaws that was disappointing.... However after using the 3s battery pack, I find it solves some of the big issues. I would highly recommend purchasing the battery pack alongside this product to get the best experience. Pro 1) The battery pack doubles the battery life outside the action pod making it approximately 1 hour continuous recording which opens up more potential for a single charge. The battery pack can serve as another battery so very useful to have. 2) I did not notice the heat as much with the battery pack attached compared to without one. I believe it is because the heat is emitted further away from the backing. I feel the magnetic connection to the pendant is stronger with the battery pack (look at Con #1 for some details) New Cons 1) While the camera is attached to the battery pack, it loses the ability to attach to magnetic surfaces. HOWEVER you can still attach to the pendant so it is not the biggest con. With proper battery management, you should be able to get shots that requires magnetic attachment on surfaces and then recharge via the battery pack or action pod separately. If that is not enough, getting other accessories like a tripod would probably be required. 2) the battery pack only comes in white colour so it does not fit my all black aesthetics but a small price to pay for the additional battery. I would like to see a black option become available in the future. Revised Overall Review The camera on its own still has its flaws but considering insta360 is trying to offer a new type of product it has a lot of potential. I can see with the attachments what it can be which is very promising... I'm sure one can argue why not build in the features but then it will lose its identity and will not create the new category this camera can be. This camera is unlike other action cameras on the market and provides a way to capture the moment in its own unique way. I highly recommend for those looking to get something that can be used daily with minimal set up; a great conversation starter; lightweight and versatile; and to capture genuine candid moments from your perspective handsfree. *** Initial Review *** Rated 3/5 stars Hear me out... Battery life sucks... Camera/action pod overheats like crazy... Image quality isn't the best... With all that being this camera has a lot of potential... The hat clip and the magnetic necklace gives lots of new perspective and you can hardly feel it attached to your shirt/hat. This is not a cheap buy but it is a new category product that I hope to see improvements (especially battery life) in the future. Bought this for the purpose of my Japan trip and i'm expecting to use this while walking around to capture random moments that i might not pull out my camera/phone for. Hoping this will add different perspective to my vacation photos. Pro - Size. Can barely notice it is hanging on your shirt/hat - built in magnet backing (very strong) can stick on magnetic surfaces Con - Short battery life - Overheats - quality is average I hope in the future the battery life can last more than 30 minutes of continuous recording (outside the action pod) and have a way to reduce the amount of heat generated. I understand the small form factor makes this nearly impossible but that would be the only way to upgrade from this version. I will be keeping this because i think i can still use this regularly.

Så smidig! Det jag gillar mest med den är att den är så diskret, samt funktionen med magnet. Kommer ha med den när jag fiskar. Kvaliten är riktigt bra (känns solid) och så smidigt att kunna filma under vatten utan att behöva ha extra fodral till den.
