I got lucky or others didn't get lucky
I bought this for a 2006 V Star to replace the previous mount for my passing lights/turn signals. I got the previous on of ePay for a reasonable price and the bracket eventually cracked and broke at the mounting point, leaving me with passing lights looking at the ground (sigh). Opposed to other reviewers, the welds and alignment were fine. Did I get lucky...or did they get unlucky. Beats me, but mine was fine. One thing, I ordered a black one (mostly because it was cheaper and I could reweld/repaint it if I got a buggered one). I received a chrome one. I'm not pissed, because I really wanted a chrome one, but if I had to reweld, the chrome would be toast and I'd have to paint it anyway. The biggest issue was unhooking and rehooking the electrical connections for the lights. Time will tell how well it holds up.

Lousy workmanship!
Don't bother buying this product. I bought one for my son, along with lights, for a birthday present. The bracket tabs are not welded correctly. With the lights mounted, the are aimed upwards at a 45* angle. So now I have to grind the welds off, re position the tabs, and re weld the tabs back on at the right angle, so the lights actually shine onto the road and not at the tree tops. I should have bought the bracket from a reputable dealer to get the correct fit. I am not happy with this purchase. I thought I could save a little money on the bracket to get better LED lights, but now I have more work ahead of me to make it work.

Cheap mount. Maybe good on a smaller bike, but not a VTX 1800.
I am on my third one. Cheap product, the part you mount the lights to break after about a year of riding. The this piece of metal the lights mount to need to be reinforced with a thicker piece and the welds are kind of weak.

Nice little set up if you know what you are doing!
I gave up tying to find the VTwin light bar for Harley Springers after about 8 months, So I took a chance and Ordered this Bar,, Well I have to say at first I didn't see it as working on my specific bike, But anyway after cutting it with a 3" cut off wheel and drilling a couple bolt holes and fabricating a couple of brackets, I'm really pleased with the outcome far as I can tell its perfect and the bar itself seems plenty strong and should last a long time,,I dont recommend anyone purchaing this set up unless they are experienced mechanics or at least have a buddy that is,it took me a few mock ups but all in all,,,well worth it !

Fits ok
Depending on which lights you mount on this bar, you may have to bend the mounting tabs because they do not sit level to the ground if used on a Honda Shadow.

Pleased
Small modification needed but works as intended and gives me the lacked out look I was going for.

Nope!!!
Metal is a cheap material that when you put weight (lights) on it after a bit of riding and a few bumps here and there it bends and it eventually breaks off
