I am a great fan of Lin's and have purchased many of his great discs, like the Sibelius and Nielsen disc. There is also the Prokofiev and Stravinsky disc which is woth a place in any Collection. This Mozart disc is no exception!

One of Lin's best!

I think all of the recordings in this series with Lin, Leppard and English Chamber Orchestra are excellent. This one includes Violin concerto no. 2 and a Rondo as well as the Violin Concerto 271a which likely wasn't written by Mozart. Despite that it does utilize some of his characteristic mannerisms and is quite enjoyable. As with the other CDs the program is fairly short -- here less than 60 minutes. The quality of musicianship is very high and sound quality is excellent. Of the three CDs this is perhaps the least essential. You might start with the one including Concertos nos. 3 and 5. Recommended.
