Very informative good guides and pictures

As per title.

As far as bicycle mechanics manuals go this is about the best there is , but there are serious omissions , such as "Freewheel Destructive Removal" , "Fixed Gear Drive Chain , Gear Alignment" , etc Hence four stars .

This is a beautiful book and well worth the money. Excellent photos, easy to follow text and covers old and modern bikes. Yes it’s on the pricier side as are the tools but you get what you pay for and as with the tools it’s worth it

Full of good, useful information. I bought this book to get familiar with doing minor tasks ie brakes,readjust gears,tools use.The pictures and explanations are apt and easy to follow. I feel there is everything in this book to become a proficient cycle mechanic.

Great book and teachers you all you need to know about bikes I bought this to teach myself and releave stress from our local bike shop due to these hard times..

Excellent book and very detailed

I've been riding racing and wrenching on bicycles for 50 years. Always used Park Tools and periodically purchase the current repair manual. I'm a roady but my grandson is a very busy mountain bike racer. I like to be able to refer to this book to deal with MTN bike specific maintenance. If you aspire to doing your own maintenance or repairs this book is for you. Lots of pictures and lots of technical information. You can also go to their YouTube site for lots of great videos!

I like this book, nice pictures. Good instructions and directions. I'm learning a lot doing the maintenance on my bicycles. You won't be disappointed...excellent as a reference.

This book is great; wonderfully detailed in most areas, and gives a good overview of different configurations and best practices on how to best maintain, and install older, and newer bikes.It is worth noting, if you are BUILDING a bike, this is still a beneficial resource, but as it is a repair manual, it is primarily based around maintaining and replacing parts and pieces that are already installed. There is limited information about installing components as new, or, for example, how to route cabling in an efficient manner.Yes, there are youtube videos that Calvin has from Park tool that go into greater detail. Are they worth watching? Yes. Do they serve as a good replacement for having a book open, in front of you, while both your hands are busy affixing something to the bike? No. This book is something you can buy once, and always have on hand. Great resource, especially for repair and maintenance.
