Quality, ruggedness, military grade. Great device
This is an excellent extremely high quality well thought out rugged beast of a device. Waterproof shockproof does proof LifeProof lol. The RF module works excellent on both UHF and VHF the audio output on the speaker is amazing. It is heavy it is large you have to decide if it fits your needs in life in that way. Once adapted to that you won't be disappointed. The user interface on the intercom app which is the radio app controlling both DMR and analog frequencies and operations is very simple. It is not what you may be used to in other complete DMR dedicated devices such as an anytone or similar radio. However it has an amazing battery life Android 13 operating system which is flawless and extremely fast has very large ram and internal storage as well as a two terabyte support for your favorite micro SD card. Would I like most about it is the easy on-off of the antenna with included flap that covers the antenna port and it makes it extremely stealth from the standpoint of not looking like a traditional radio. It just looks like a very large military grade rugged smartphone which it is that. I'm very happy with my purchase understand that for its size and weight what it actually is in terms of the capability technology the night vision camera is amazing 200 megapixel rear camera is awesome. Have fun enjoy

Overall great phone, with awesome battery life.
This replacemented my ulefone 3w, which I really liked and had no intention of replacing until it got damaged by no fault of its own. My 3w was great and held up to a lot a abuse. This is almost identical to the 3w, just updated. I am with Verizon and this one seems to work better with less dropped calls, better signal, and the data seems to work better in locations the 3w didn't. It still has the awesome battery life of several days. The camera is a little better, but still not as good as my wife's Samsung. I was able to get the two way radio feature to work with the 400mhz walkie-talkies we use on the farm. This is a really cool feature, less stuff to carry around now. I really like the physical buttons and the programmable one. I have it set so a double click turns the flashlight on and a long press for the ptt for the walkie-talkies, works great. This also has a faster processor, more ram, and more internal storage, it is noticeablely faster that the 3w was. I am getting used to the layout of Android 12, but I not sure I like it better than 9 that was on the 3w. Overall I am very happy with this phone as it has all of the features that are important to me that I cannot get with any other phone that will work on Verizon.

Rugged phone?
As I am in a big need of a rugged phone, using a walkie Talkie regally I was excited as I found this phone for a great price. All the other phones I have found called rugged with radio was twice or even 3 times as much as this one. As I received the phone my excitement grew, it seemed stable it is heavy, but the fact of not having to carry a radio in one pocket and phone in the other, helped me quickly over come the weight. Phone works great strong flashlight and the radio doesn't just cover the GMRS channels but also the 70 cm band for us radio amatou8rs. and the radio works well. finger print scanner in a good place, easy to handle phone with one hand as you are out in the field. So the question is why am I not giving this phone a top score? The reason is that the description of the phone seems little bit of a stretch from my experience. To start with the battery for example does not live up to "Armor 3W will run heavily at least 4 days" as it says in the description, The phone will run for for about 3 days sometimes it will reach 4 days., That's only 1 more day on a average on any other phone I have had in the last few year. The second issue I have, is if it should be called a rugged phone, as I was up in the mountains, weather was snowing and the temperature was around mid 20-ties I was talking on the phone for quite a while and when I came inside the house the phone suddenly shut down, I thought at first I was out of battery but as I turned the phone back on it was still at 50 percent. Later that day I dropped my phone free fall from 1.2 meter, wood floor. and the screen cracked, not the screen protector the screen, never seen that before from that low of a drop and I have dropped my fair share of phones through the years. In the description Ulefone says that the phone can handle a free fall of at least 1.2 meters, I contacted Ulefone about my experiences thinking that the phone could be a faulty, As they answered they asked a odd question I thought the question was did you drop the phone in water, odd because it says in the description that you could even use the camera under water. Ether way they would not stand by there product just told me that I need to send my phone if I wanted the screen fixed to their service center, and where was the service center not in the US but in China, I need to spend about 35 dollars to send the phone to China then 45 to get it back, and who knows when I would get it back. So in conclusion, I like the phone it definitely filled a need for me during the 2 1/2 months it worked, as a radio and phone but if you are out climbing mountains on a oil rig or on a constructions site this phone might not be as rugged as the description may let you think it is. Customer service may not be the best. As I said I gave the company the chance to switch out the phone if it was a faulty phone version. But they didn't go for that which makes me think they may be stretching the facts a bit in their description, meaning that the phone is not made for the activities they describe unless you are careful of course, and treat the phone as any other phone that may be cheaper.

You can not configure for repeaters
Good phone for the exception you can not configure for send and receive frequencies. Can’t believe they did all this work and stopped short on the software. Have to return it. I hat a shame.

Bulky heavy sturdy awesome phone
I love my sturdy phone Order this last July or so, unfortunately I did crack the lens on the back camera and moisture in the speaker.. customer service was very easy to deal with and was more than happy to assist getting a replacement. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had, and one of the best phones I've had in a long time. Battery life lasts about 2 days on average, 3 if I'm not playing The Tower. I love the questions from people.."what kind of phone is that?!"

It DOES have a barometer!
First off, I Iike the size of the phone as it's comparable to what I'm used to (Oukitel WP5 Pro). I also like that THIS phone does NOT suffer from the weird bugs that plagued the WP5, where YouTube and other video sources would constantly have their play controls appear for no reason. Likewise, it doesn't randomly kill my music apps in the background while they are in use (I tried literally everything to fix it on the other device, to no avail). It is quite the relief to be done with that nonsense! RAM usage on startup is 3GB, so Android is getting fatter than ever. That a phone should ever even need 12GB RAM is just boggling, but in this case it helps a lot. The 8GB boost is provided by the internal storage and must be activated in the settings. I doubt I'll need it as I don't play games. Feature lists were inconsistent and seemed to suggest that this device has a barometer. It does, and the included "toolbox" app includes an altimeter with calibration options. It does have two separate SIM slots, PLUS a third slot for the uSD card. I've never seen that in a phone before as they usually have one SIM slot serving double duty as a uSD slot. This is one of the major reasons I chose this device. The slots are behind the metal plabe on the back just below the camera. Two tiny screwdrivers are included to remove this panel. The included charging cable is surprisingly heavy, as is the charger itself. That's because it's a 33W charger which lists the following power outputs: 5V 3A (15W), 9V 3A (27W), 11V 3A (33W), 12V 2.5A (30W), 15V 2A (30W), 20V 1.5A (30W). That's quite a versatile little charger! Voltage selection must be automatic, but I've not tested it with other devices yet. Both it and the phone get quite warm when charging, but it charges fast. The box included a couple of glass screen protectors, but they're thinner than some 3rd party models. Still, it's thoughtful. There is even a lanyard which can be attached on the back top of the device! And now that gigantic battery... I can use this phone for several days on a single charge, but I've set the display brightness to auto. There is even a blue light filter which is adjustable, and an extra-dim setting that can be found in the customizable swipe-down menue. Both settings are on at all times, so that helps. Now some things I don't like: The fingerprint sensor is not the greatest but it works. The camera is listed as having much lower resolution than the official features list would suggest (based on 3rd party sensors detection app), and even seems to be less sensitive than other devices. Call audio is terrible compared to the WP5 Pro, though most calls I've had were from an iPhone on speaker, which sucks on any receiving device. Otherwise it can be quite loud depending on who calls and on what kind of phone. I have yet to use the built-in UHF radio, but will update this review when I do test it. The box includes a spare cap for the antenna port, and the antenna itself. There is also an FM radio app, but it expects headphones to be plugged in and will not permit tuning otherwise. I tried using the charging cable by itself to no avail, and cannot test it since I don't have USB-C headphones. I don't even know if this phone has a DAC built in, there was no mention of it anywhere. Annoyingly, using LDAC codec defaults to "Best Effort" (adaptive bit rate) when Bluetooth is connected, and can only be set as high as "Balanced". Setting it to the highest quality will result in severe stuttering. This is based on the Earstudio ES100 Mk2 headphone amp and it's official app, which has no settings for LDAC quality. Conclusion: Not a bad phone, but as expected there are _some_ issues. For the most part I can live with them, but your mileage may vary.

AMAZING! Better than other $$$ brand.
- extremely loud speakers (you will not find an other phone like it), with a reasonable good sound quality - 10300 mAh battery !!! from day 1 (fully charged) using this phone hardcore - web browsing, broadcasting, playing videos, and after 5 days i still have 79% battery chatge left, astonishing. - the Sony 21 MP camera (in the back) makes crystal clear and very detailed pictures, also the front 8 MP camera, but i dont use it much! - the IP rating seem to be as advertised, tested with tons of water, while playing a video 100% volume -the built in Walkie Talkie is fantastic, with its dedicated button on the left side (a PTT and cannot be modified) a frequency counter is recommended ! once you have all the frequency the setup is simple. - the fingerprint scanner works great, and multiple profile can be added , unlocks the phone withing ms. ( less than ~ 1 sec ) -Built in GPS ---------all i can think of right now, much more of course! All this ^^ for relative "cheap" price ! you get much more than other fancy 1000$ ++ brands. This phone is a power brick, and its LARGE due to its battery. Dont buy it, if you dont like big phones!
