Granna CAPITAL Capital Game

This game was on my husbands wishlist so I didn’t read the reviews just the discription. I thought I was getting a good deal for this and that he chose this one I thought I shall buy it for him. However when it arrived I thought the packaging was smaller than expected and inside there was a book called Capital by John Lanchester, I defiantly ordered a game and not a book. Checked the invoice inside the box and it does say Granna Capital Game! I think a book and game are two completely different things. I’mCurrently waiting a response from. There are less than 10 left at this moment in time and I’m not sure weather to order again or wait for a reply.Update: I have received a refund and was able to keep the book which will probably go to a charity shop. I have reported this issue to amazon but it is still being advertised as the game and not the book. If you are a gamer or buying for a gamer, be aware, if you order from this page you will not receive the game.

I ordered a game - it's advertised Granna Capital Game; but I received a book. I got a refund & got to keep the book - this is still listed days later as a game! Please do beware!EDIT: I ordered the game AGAIN & this time it IS THE GAME - only problem it's published in Polish despite claiming to be published in English! Feel disappointed at that!

Originally reviewed with 1 star as I ordered the game but got the book Despite checking and double checking the description, reading all the reviews and most importantly, the recent responses of NOT A BOOK and we are selling the game not a book. Reviewing my original review to a 2 as the Book Depository have been good in getting to the bottom of this and resolving my complaint. Unfortunately they're not able to provide the game as it's been listed incorrectly. Just be careful who you order from.

The quality of the components is the first thing that leaps on opening the box and the insert is really nice so everything fits into the box. It's a fast-playing and very enjoyable game of tile drafting and city building with a nice little historical twist.Avoid the non-amazon sellers and you'll get the real game.

Amazing game recommended to us by the owner of thirsty meeples in oxford. Mechanics are sound and easy to learn.

Superb game. Easy to learn, great fun to play and highly recommended!!! Historical facts are big bonus as thing to learn.

Book Depository have confirmed that there is a catalogue malfunction and, despite the picture, the description etc, this listing is NOT the game about building Warsaw!! Hopefully the book is still available and will not be unduly hurt by my one star review.
