Brushmaster Specialist Decking Stain Paint Pad Kit with Extension Pole

If I could give this 1/4 of a star I would but a whole one is the minimal. Doesn’t even deserve that. Absolute RUBBISH product. The pad doesn’t stay in place so 5 times during my decking oil application it fell out, meaning a VERY messy job trying to click it back into place whilst soaked full of oil. There are zero assembly instructions that come with it so you have to figure out “which bit goes where” on your own. Very flimsy, doesn’t give the user good sturdy control at all, absolute waste of time is all this product is

This is a good idea but sadly the quality of the product is woeful given the price. The collapsible handle frequently does just that as one of the joints does not fit together and one of the grooves that is supposed to hold the pad in a rigid position does not click into place as it should, so the pad starts to waggle about after every few strokes. The flock of the pad is also not quite thick enough to get into the grooves of the decking unless you use a large amount of oil (I used double the quantity suggested on the tin). That said, it still made the job a little quicker and easier than other methods so I would probably buy it again, through gritted teeth wishing they could spend a few more pence on the quality of manufacture.

you will never buy any tool for work round the home that saves time and effort like this does, I would say 4 times the price for the ease of sue this tool help you with, i have been a Painter for 30 years and this makes light work of decking painting

I was looking forward to an easier application on our decking, but I have been very disappointed.The product is oor Quality. The Pad and holder do not fit on to the pole.(maybe there is a piece missing?)There are no assembly instructions..

If your decking is as smooth as glass it will be great but if your decking is like most decks it just snags on the splinter ect ( rubish )

This worked well to start with even though the handle is a bit wobbly. To be fair I had a large area to cover but 2 thirds of the way thorough the handle broke where it joins onto the pad. So while it was in working order it made the job easier but it broke before I had even fininished one coat.

absolute rubbish dropped to bits after 10 minutes. Best to use an ordinary roller, with extension handle, did the job much better.

Sorry to say that this product although a good idea doesn't stand up to the job. Only covered about 20m2 and the pad handle broke. The pole also ket twisting and worked loose all the time. Very disappointed. Wish I hadn't wasted my money.
