OC's Favorite
OC is a (formerly at this time) feral cat who lived in a parking lot for 8 years. I was one of his care takers for 3 years and when the non-profit feral cat entity I volunteer with decided given his age, weather conditions and events in the parking lot we needed to trap him. Once we did, I adopted him. The first few months I wasn't able to touch him but once I got this brush and was able to touch him with it he had a complete turn around. He LOVES to be brushed with it and will meow to me that it's time for me to groom him. I really feel this brush is a good part of why he turned a corner into a domestic cat.

Better than wiping! Almost purrfect
First, I think this is a great brush for short haired cats. I have some similar brushes (and these style of brushes tend to remove a lot of loose fur), but the bristles were bigger, longer, and seemed to irritate my short haired cats. But the big feature is the steam function of this brush. Surprisingly all three of my cats didn't seem to be bothered by the mist or moisture. The reason that I like the mist feature is that I am trying to "freshen up" my cat's fur without bathing them. I've tried a lot of bath wipes and my cats are really annoyed by them. So this feature is 5 stars for me, as I can groom my cats and clean them up a bit.The price is great and the brush is easy to charge and easy to use. The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars are some minor flaws (if I'm going to be picky). You will want to remove the fur from the brush as you are using it. If fur is over the spot where the mist comes out large water droplets will come out instead and possibly annoy your cat (I imagine this could be more work with a long haired cat). Make sure you empty the water out of the brush before setting it down and walking away! The brush leaks water if you set it down for too long.I think the brush is worth the purchase...if your cat will tolerate it :)

It leaks.
It leaks while being used from around the seam. So much that it makes the cat aware that you are wetting them. I would not recommend.

Reduces shedding!
Super easy to use, loosens fur and dirt easily! Makes the grooming process much easier and faster! It is also very gentle. Great value!

It works ok
I really wanted to like this product, because oh my goodness does my cat shed. There’s some issues. So you put warm water in, but that doesn’t actually matter because the mist comes out cold no matter what. Another bummer is the mist comes out kind of forceful so it makes noise which definitely scares my cat.

works well, but must be dumped out after each use or it will leak
The Cat Steam Brush for Shedding Massage & Dirt Remover has quickly become a staple in our pet grooming routine. Despite being designed primarily for cats, we have found it incredibly effective when used on our dogs as well. This brush excels at removing loose, tangled, and static fur, leaving our dogs' coats sleek and clean. One of its standout features is its ability to tackle shedding while providing a soothing massage, making grooming sessions more enjoyable for our pets. However, it's critical to ensure the brush is emptied and cleaned after each use. Neglecting to do so can result in leakage, which diminishes its effectiveness and creates a mess. Overall, we are pleased with its performance, provided we follow the proper maintenance routine.

Works great!
The bristles are soft and it collects a lot of hair. It does make a slight noise but my cat didn't mind it and she LOVED the feel of the brush (although she is normally okay with being brushed in general). If you don't use the spray function, it still collects hair but it tends to fly away - the water makes it collect together. Her coat was also much softer after brushing. My only complaint is that you have to clean the hair out of the bristles often, or else the spray will be blocked. Otherwise it works well and my cat likes it!

Unusable
This device worked one time. When I initially got it, filled it up to try it and it seemed to work. Nice firm rubbery bristles and a good water mist coming out of the center while it was turned on. After I attempted to charge it a few times, it became obvious that it wasn't charging. Realizing the included USB cord was bad I attempted charging it with a known good cord. This resulted, after it was charged, in a non-stop vapor spray, it would only turn off if you plugged it back in to the charger. The button didn't seem to be stuck, just seems like something was broken inside. I had to dispose of this unit.
