Quality
This surveillance camera offers clear, high‑resolution video and reliable motion detection, giving you peace of mind whether you’re monitoring your home or business. Installation was straightforward, and the app makes it easy to view live footage and receive alerts. With solid night vision and weather‑resistant construction, it performs well around the clock. It’s a dependable choice for enhancing your security setup. I was very skeptical in buying these types of cameras. The sound, zoom, and its simple way to connect to the wifi was very good for me because, I am not very good with technology.

Amazing for the price!
Got it for $70 on Amazon Deal Day. Quality is great. Love the PT motions. ReoLink has more expensive ones that don't have motion. The POE makes it incredibly reliable. As with all these Amazon ReoLink listings, the 512GB claim is false. All ReoLink cameras max out at 256GB, which is still a lot. Just don't waste your money on the bigger one, I think it formats it as 256. As with my other 5 ReoLink cameras, I added a 256G so that it always records. I can still filter out the activations, but if an event happens I don't have to worry about it not catching the critical moment because it's recording 24x7. 256GB costs $22 for Amazon Basics and it gives me about 7 days worth when recording at max resolution. That's plenty. Note: This can only be done with a wall powered camera, not solar-n-battery (side-note, nearly all solar cameras are a waste of money if you mind being frustrated).

Decent low cost camera
The camera does the job. I had to return one due to a halo when the IR or LED light came on but the new one seems to work well. They are CHEAP cameras, with that understanding, they do quite well. Great picture quality and it has a lot of features. I do have some issues with notifications when it snows. For some reason, it always shows detecting movement, even though I have it set to person only and increased the size of the detectible object. They are out door cameras but based on "feel", I wouldn't put them right in the elements. they install very well under eves (make sure it isn't to close to the eve or it will reflect at night). Over all, for the price, this is a really good camera.

Really nice for the price!
We have several older Reolink 5MP cameras that we like due to not having any fees and the ability to record 24/7. Bought this E1 POE SE for the tracking feature and the spotlight. So far, I’m very impressed with this inexpensive camera. Tracks pretty good and the spotlight works as expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the improved detail the 8 MP camera gets over the older 5MP. Relatively easy to set up and the ability to store the video on an sd card as well as ftp the data or on a server makes this a great option for us. I do wish the vertical range was better but it can still do a good job with proper placement. Setup was easy once you have one POE camera, it’s super simple to add another. The one downside to this camera is that the cable sticks out the side of the camera. I would have preferred that it be able to be hidden under the camera like so many of the other Reolink cameras. A small issue that I think is solved with the more expensive cameras. I’d give this 4.5 stars and rounded it up to 5 since the system doesn’t allow you to give 1/2 stars.overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would buy again.

Great so far.
Was simple to setup and works flawlessly so far. I was able to access it from a cruise ship and from cellular in a couple Caribbean islands.

I like the camera so much, I bought another
I might even buy a couple more. Works just as advertised. Excellent picture quality. Have run a Roelink NVR system for 3 years now. Everything about it is fine. Some cameras have died, but I think the pressure washing of the house had something to do with that. Weather-proofing connections is hard to do that will stand up for years. This camera comes highly recommended as a PTZ solution for not a lot.

Security cameras
Reolink cameras are very good cameras; BUT I wasn’t able to successfully add this particular model to my “already “ existing Reolink system. The UPS in this area doesn’t assist Amazon customers in returning items.

The REOLINK E1 Outdoor SE PoE has been an outstanding addition to my home security setup. The 4K video quality is exceptionally clear, providing crisp detail across the entire yard in all lighting conditions. Even during heavy snowfall, the camera continues to deliver sharp, reliable footage. One of the features I appreciate most is the color night vision. It performs far better than standard infrared-only cameras, offering bright and detailed nighttime images that make it easy to see what’s happening around the property. The built-in timelapse function is excellent as well. It captures long periods smoothly and consistently, making it perfect for monitoring weather changes, snow accumulation, or general activity over the day. It has quickly become one of my favorite features on this model. I also use an all-weather cover, which helps keep snow off the lens and maintains a clear view during storms. Combined with the camera’s solid build, it handles tough winter conditions with no issues at all. Setup was simple thanks to PoE—one cable for power and data keeps the installation clean and the connection stable. The app is easy to use, alerts are dependable, and reviewing footage is straightforward. Overall, the REOLINK E1 Outdoor SE PoE is a durable, high-quality security camera packed with useful features. If you’re looking for a reliable 4K PoE outdoor camera with excellent night vision and timelapse capability, this model is an excellent choice.

I recently installed the Reolink 4K IP camera, and I’m extremely satisfied with its performance. The 4K resolution delivers incredibly sharp and clear video, making it easy to see details like faces, license plates, and other important features. The night vision is also excellent — it provides a clear, detailed image even in low-light conditions. Setup was straightforward, and the camera connects reliably to my network with minimal issues. Motion detection is accurate, and the alerts are timely, which gives me peace of mind when I’m away from home. I also appreciate the build quality — it feels solid and weather-resistant, so I don’t have to worry about outdoor use. Overall, this Reolink 4K IP camera is a fantastic security solution. It’s reliable, high-quality, and easy to use, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home or business security.

I had purchased several Reolink POE cameras and they were all good for my daily use. Thought to get a 4K plus PTZ model could serve me better for my whole house surveillance solution. After set it up (to replace an old 1080p POE), well the video quality isn't bad and turn on RTSP with my own NVR server is a breeze. However after some days use, I found this camera's video sometimes shakes (several frames vibrates/shifts) with no reason -- it cause false alarm and quiet annoying watch that happen. I had early experience with some other brand camera has grainy picture but first time saw this kind of video. It happened to both low-res and high-res, so definitely not software issue but defect of its motor. BTW, I turned off all features like motion detection/follow etc. but use my NVR's own detection. -- After some days of use, I accepted this maybe a single flaw item. Reolink customer service is very patient and answers my questions. Overall I think Reolink products and customer services are good.
