My wife wanted a power strip in her closet to plug various chargers into. This worked perfect.The cord was VERY long (15 feet), which was too long for our application. But that's ok, we just wound up the excess and stuffed it behind a cabinet.High quality outlet strip in an aluminum housing. Well suited for shop use.

This power strip is a few inches shorter than my workbench. That means I can plug things in where they need to be, resulting in less cable mess. It comes with two mounting ears that fit in the ends so you can screw it in place. The supplied screws do the job but I ended up using some longer ones of my own. Mounting was easy enough.I look forward to many happy years of service from this power strip.

I bought this because I have bulky plugs and hate to have all of them crammed together. The cord length was adaquate and the size of the strip was small enough to be hidden out of sight without being an eye sore. It's simple and works great for what I need it for. I love this. I'm already brain storming of where else I can use a power strip so that I can make another purchase.

Revew of "oviitech 12 Outlets Metal Power Strip,Mountable Heavy Duty Power Strip with 6FT Cord..."This is the silver-colored aluminum (ASIN B0B4W5TPH9) with 12 black plastic outlets and black plastic caps on both ends and a black power cord.Great quality. Grippy plugs hold my heaviest "wall-wart" power supplies. Mine is suspended by both ends but doesn't flex when plugging things in. No sharp edges and nothing rattling inside. The power switch clicks on of off and the bottom glows red in use. It's fairly thick aluminum, not cheap sheet metal.I don't think there is any surge protector which is good, since it's connected to my UPS. There may be overcurrent protection.Approximate dimensions--the length of the aluminum strip with the black plastic endcaps but without the cord is 33 1/2". The distance between the endcap screw and the leftmost socket ground hole* is approximately 3" since that side has the power swtich. Then it's 2 1/2" between each ground hole and finally 2 1/2" to the final end cap. 3" + (12 x 2 1/2") only equals 33" so like I said, approximate.If you need to mount this in something wider, thin aluminum bar can be hand-filed with two bevels to fit in the channel in the back. I bought a Hillman #122375 12" Picture Hanging System "french cleat" because the metal was the perfect width once I flattened the cleats slightly with flat-nose pliers.* If you see a surprised face when you look at an empty electrical outlet, the ground hole is the mouth.

This is a good product that has a long enough cord to stretch behind appliances. It has two brackets that screw into the wall and then you snap the outlet strip onto it. Easy.However, my one complaint is the product comes with these two silver tiny bars and screws with no obvious place to put them. I don't know what they are for or where to install. So I didn't.Directions would help.

Mounted this on the back of a new entertainment center I designed and built. It’s perfect to allow plenty of plugs for all of the equipment I need to power. Easy to mount with simple included hardware. I will by again I am sure.

Works well if you have an office space or need a lot of small plugged stuff.
