Camelot Leather Draw Reins Pony

The reins are very nicely made. They are sufficiently long enough for a warmblood. I wouldn't use them on horses any smaller than this, or ponies.

Nice quality leather, very sturdy without being hard to hold in the hands. Softened right up with leather lotion. Using snaps, rings & Chicago screws, I made a Hands-free Euro convertible dog lead, a shorter handle-free lead, two traffic handle leads, and a fine belt for myself. Saved me a lot of money.

I wasn’t really sure what I was expecting but these are better than that! Really happy with the quality of the snaps and the draw reins in general. Very happy with them and pleased with the purchase!

I really think it is nicely made. I used it only once and I hope it stops slipping through my fingers. It is a wax and I hope it goes away. I really enjoyed the attachments to the girth.

I use these as normal reins, since all of the other english reins are too short for my horse. I just took the stitching out of the ends and punched holes to put leather thongs through and attached them to a bridle, and we're good to go. The reins feel good in the hands, not so thin that they feel like they'll cut you if your horse acts up, but not so thick that they're heavy. The perfect size. I love them!

The reins come a little stiff, but after a few rides and some leather balm soften up real nice. The reins also run a bit long and I have to knot them for my 16.1 thoroughbred.
