We needed a 'diaper geenie' for out incontinent older child. However, everything on the market would have been destroyed or stuffed with non-diaper items. Then I found this! I used command strips instead of the included mounting strips (although I saved them). Our young one is able to remove a bag, place items inside, close, and take to dumpster. PERFECT!! I'm sure it would be great for pets too, I just have other holders on leashes for them. The little bend in the front does a great job of keeping tension on the bags but not allowing the unit to be ripped off the wall. It doesn't automatically cut the bag at the perforation, but that is not an issue. I love it, the family loves the ease, and our problems are solved.

I live in an apartment with our crazy doodle who has chewed through more poopbag holders and leashes than I care to think about! My significant other took off the holder we had tied to her leash and I frequently found myself without a bag when needed! Heard about the poopchute from a friend and ordered it last month...it’s a clever simple design but now we have bags ready to go when you pick up the leash! I used those Command strips to mount it as we live in a rental! I find the name a bit mortifying (try telling your friends about the poopchute - they all laugh at me!). Awesome idea though!

I really like the simplicity of this dispenser, how easy it was to install, and the fact that it's paintable (use spray paint for plastics) to blend in with the environment that it's placed in. Amazon did not like my original post with photos, but I'm certain that it's a positive thing to point out that the white plastic appearance is changeable (if desired) and shouldn't be what deters them from purchasing this product.The dispenser works great as long as it's firmly secured and you do as the instructions in the box say: tug/tear the bag either to the left or right side. Bags won't break off if you just pull down (with one hand). This is really not the dispenser's fault in my opinion. Rolled bags have firmer perforations than boxed bags.

This seemed like a great idea, and it worked okay for the first few days. But if the bag isn't perfectly flat when it's threaded through the tear point, it will not work. It doesn't hold the bag so you just keep pulling more out without tearing them off. It also comes with sticky pads that do not hold it onto any surface very well. It's faster to just use both hands with a loose roll than to bother with this.

I will start by saying I used the Velcro type comment strips to adhere this to my wall instead of the provided strips since I am in a rental. I loved this product. When I first purchased this I lived in a house with a shared yard where I could just let my dog out and she’d come right back in after she was done. It was perfect for keep bags ready by the door so I could clean up after her. So convenient and honestly, genius. Every once in a while, a bag would get stuck but it wasn’t so bad that I would consider it a full blown concern. Just my experience! I still have it and even though I don’t need it now (in an apt), hopefully I can use it in the future!

I like this. I don't know if i'm using this wrong. I have it in the back yard, I don't want poop all over my yard. Anyways, I only keep one poop bag roll in at a time because I would have to take all of the out anyways to put the next roll in the slip slot to tear off. I don't know if there is a better way to use it.

This was just what I was looking for and isn’t easy to find. It is sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. I wanted storage on the wall for the poop bags next to my back door. I installed it with the wall anchors and screws instead of the adhesive strips. Loved the humor on the product box. I will probably order another one for near the front door too.

They are ok for me considering I'm using these pet bags to clean my cat litter box of poop because we cant flush litter down the toilet or it will back up the only problem I have is that the tape wasnt sticky enough to hold the pack up on the wall where I put it. That's it you can always buy new tape from elsewhere so that's not really a big issue.
