I've been loyal to a different leave-in product since 2010 that I've been purchasing secondhand from online resellers for nearly triple the MSRP because it's been discontinued since 2014, and I've done this for years because it was the only leave-in product that managed my hair with no adverse textural effects (important). I am constantly on the hunt for some kind of leave-in product that is lightweight, affordable, and undetectable.My hair is fine in texture, low in porosity, and difficult to manage; my curl pattern is 2C when long (back of head) and 3A when cut shorter (curtain bangs). I am of pure Spanish descent. My hair is color-treated on the ends because I am growing that out. New growth is untouched. Although my hair is fine in texture, I do have a lot of it. You can imagine how quickly I go through products, so I needed to find an alternative solution that would be good for daily use. It was a nice surprise to find that such a thin cream could hydrate as well as it did. The amount of product you get for the price is what you'd expect from any drugstore brand, but the quality is superior.The most important factor for me is texture. I don't like gels or mousses because they make the hair artificially shiny and uncomfortably crunchy, but I also don't like when leave-in products (styling products included) are too heavy on the hair. I like that this Odele product actually sinks in to my hair instead of sitting on top of it. I find that a lot of products for curls use very heavy oils (coconut, shea, etc.) that my hair simply cannot absorb, but there is no such problem here. My curls are moisturized and naturally defined with no change to texture or feel.This product is scented but not perfumed. I would describe the scent as very earthy and botanical -- not floral, but green. Reminds me of a product you might find in a trendy boutique-type of salon. Although the smell is nothing I care for, it's better than the stereotypical tropical scents that companies love to give their curl products. I do like perfumed products, but the scent does not linger and allows my perfumed conditioner to come through once dry.If your hair is like mine, I think this is a great place to begin and end your quest for a real nice leave-in.

I absolutely love this Leave-In Conditioner! The scent is fresh and clean—nothing overly fruity, floral, or perfumey, just simple and subtle. The packaging is sleek and modern, and it looks great sitting out on my counter—definitely gives "boogie on a budget" vibes. It leaves my hair incredibly soft, smooth, and manageable without feeling greasy or weighed down. Honestly, I prefer this over It’s a 10 any day.

This is the best leave-in ever! I’ve tried so so many leave ins for my dry, damaged, frizzy, fine and wavy hair. I can use just this product and my unruly hair is soft, full and frizz free. It really keeps the moisture in my hair. I use one full pump for my shoulder length hair It feels so moisturized without feeling greasy, causing static or weighing it down. It just feels clean and healthy. You can’t feel anything in it. The smell is pleasant and fresh but not floral, it smells so good. It doesn’t linger and once the hair is dry you can’t smell it. I absolutely love this and will forever continue to buy this. I’m obsessed with it!! I’ve tried so many leaves ins and the others leave a gross film, are greasy or cause static… not to mention most are so overly fragrant and not in a good way. Not this one! This outperforms every other product in every way!!

Fantastic product, reduces my frizz and makes my hair extremely soft. -1 star because the pump came stuck ‘closed’ and doesn't work, as many other comments have said as well.

Pump abasoltely does not work. I have been using this product for years and never had a problem, However, the last two that I bought have had pumps that remain in the closed position. Tried everything to get the pump to work and I could not budge it. Very frustrating and essential makes the product unusable. Don't buy this until the problem gets resolved. Look at the other reviews this is a problem many people are having.

I’ve literally only used this once since I got it two days ago but it works wonders immediately. My hair has been very dry and frizzy lately and I have fine hair. This leave-in is lightweight and left my hair feeling hydrated and healthy without weighing it down!! The smell is also nice

I loved the scent of this. Didn’t think my hair was any softener from using it. Didn’t notice any hair growth from it either.

I found that this conditioner really calmed down my frizzy ends and smoothed out my fine hair. I definitely recommend this product.
