Soft fabric and comfortable
I'm 5'1"/5'2" and currently about 160 lbs. My last pregnancy had severely slowed my metabolism to where my weight fluctuated a lot. Add stress, insomnia, working and being a single parent - I admit it's been difficult looking for comfortable pants within a budget that still looks nice. This is definitely them, :) I lost 20 lbs and harem pants have great elasticity from previous reviews, I ordered a large. This is a wonderful break from wearing jeans. I and a few other African-American women don't have the stereotypical "wide birthing hips, big, round, onion shaped butt." I have narrow hips and a nice sized butt. These harem pants are really comfortable and very soft. Upon opening the package they looked small but once I tried them on, they felt so nice! I was gonna get a XL because of complaints that it was too small but I think it depends on your height and weight (if you're honest enough about that.) It doesn't put pressure on my stomach (target area for my weight gain and worst possible place to put on pounds). I had a c-section for both my daughters - one emergency and the second was 11lbs and I have that dreaded floppy kangaroo pouch. >_< the elastic waist area evens out any lumps that normally comes with jeans that is true to size. It's annoying that society expects all women - moms and non-moms alike - to look like the impossible to attain, and expensive yet at times life threatening standard of beauty that's thrown in our faces by the media. I say screw all that and dress in a way that you are most comfortable in. These harem pants is a great start and there's many colors. I plan on getting every color. Harem pants NEVER go out of style. They aren't baggy at all, not tight at the ankles - just enough room to maneuver without feeling restricted. I'd like them a little bigger, so next time I'll try an XL to see if there's a difference in roominess. Some women say that there's no difference between the L and XL. Overall I'm definitely satisfied with this product. If you're unsure of yourself when it comes to pants to chill in, something simple to wear - these harem pants is for you. You'll look great in 4" inch heels/strappy sandals, flats, sneakers, a bangle or two, one necklace and an off the shoulder top, a tank or tube top, or an Indian/Middle Eastern top, which looks great with any hairstyle or hijab.

Runs VERY Small
I'm about a size 8-10, 5'9" and weigh about 150lbs. I got the large, and they would fit fine in the waist if there wasn't a small piece of elastic running around the top of the waist band - this is a pretty unflattering. They are also a little short on me, in that I can't wear them like the girl in the photo (just below my belly button) and have them meet my ankles. However, they look fine as capris and I think I might be able to cut the elastic out. Other than that, they are really cute and the fabric is incredibly soft and comfy.

Comfy, runs small, fits better after alteration
I really do like these pants. They are so comfy. I like that they are baggy on my legs but I can still do yoga and have the leg hems stay in place. I knew from the reviews that these run small but I figured I would try them out, see how they fit, and give them away if they were too small. I am 5'7 and 190 lbs, so I am no small girl. I ordered the largest size (XL) in black. The pants are indeed a bit too tight for the style, but I altered them a little to fit me more comfortabley. There is an inch wide elastic band on the inside of the waist that gives me pretty obvious love handles/muffin top, but I cut a small hole on the inside of the waist and cut the elastic out, then hand stitched the hole back up. Now the pants do not give me love handles. My tush is large enough to hold the pants up without the elastic. They are still tight fitting but not really any worse than regular yoga pants, and there is still enough room in the crotch to avoid camel toe. The fabric is pretty thin, but since I don't plan on wearing these in public without underwear, I'm not too worried about it. The length is pretty perfect. There is just enough "poof" at the bottom. I think after I lose a little more postpartum weight, I will order a different color. For the price, they aren't bad. I just wish they had at least one size larger.

Most comfortable pant ever
I've always worn running clothes to yoga, because I am both cheap and lazy when it comes to attire. But I've been practicing so regularly that I decided to treat myself to some yoga-specific claddings. I'm a pretty nervous pant-purchaser because of my socially programmed discomfort with my leg shape, but these are leg nirvana. They are both flattering and stupendously comfortable. The fabric is soft and soothing. They're great for yoga, lounging, and whatever else you do in pants. I just bought another pair in white so that I can spill things on them and be ashamed.

The pants rest nicely around my ankles: now there is not enough fabric
I am 5 ft and 150 lbs. The medium fits well. Its a little long for me but I can pull it up over the waistline. The pants rest nicely around my ankles. The material is thin for the black color so they are summer pants. The material is slightly thicker for the dark grey but still summer pants. I have had the black pants for over three years and the grey for over two years. Just machine wash cold and hang to dry. These pants look new every time I wear them. The elastic band is a little tight but bearable. These pants are very comfortable. So that was my review from a few years back of purchasing. Now the waistband is too small and the medium fits like a small.

Comfortable, breezy, the perfect lounge around pant (or yoga if you're into that)
I bought a large pair of these in black, as other reviewers suggested sizing up a size from your normal size. I loved them so much I bought a second pair, also black large. However, there is a noticeable size difference in both even though both tags showed "L". One seems like a Large and the other seems like a Medium. It doesn't matter to me, because they both fit and are both comfortable as all get out and airy, but it may cause others troubles if there are size inconsistencies. I've seriously considered buying a third pair since I wear them so often. If I do, I'll update the review on the third pair sizing.

Lost in translation
I found the pants to be flimsy and cut weird. Definitely not the "I dream of Jeanie" pants I was looking for. I don't think anyone could do any sort of exercising in these. The material is like that of a thin tee shirt. "Burgundy" color was more like a berry sort of color. I wanted to return them and had to go through a back and forth email exchange that was hilarious. I have copied and pasted below. Seller's response to my request to return: "Hi,my dear customer. Thank you for your email. First of all, I am sorry products failed to make you satisfied. the size is large of this. If you really didn’t like it, could you pls accept a 20% refund? And you could keep it as a gift or you can send it to your friend as a gift. after all, If your return the goods, it takes very expensive shipping and time. You're okay with this?,Please tell me your suggestion.thanks Looking forward to your kindly reply. I wish you a happy life!" My response: "I don't like the pants and would like to return them. Please advise me on how to do so." Seller: "hi dear Could you tell us where you are not satisfied. pls tell us,thanks" Me: "The style doesn't look like the picture. The waistband is flimsy. Overall quality is cheap. Sizing is weird. Please advise on how I can return this item." Seller: "Hi,my dear customer. Thank you for your email. First of all, I am sorry products failed to make you satisfied. the size is large of this. If you really didn’t like it, could you pls accept a 30% refund? And you could keep it as a gift or you can send it to your friend as a gift. after all, If your return the goods, it takes very expensive shipping and time. You're okay with this?,Please tell me your suggestion.thanks Looking forward to your kindly reply. I wish you a happy life!" Me: "I don't want the pants. I WANT TO RETURN THEM. If you do not accept returns, you shouldn't be selling things on amazon." Seller: "okay dear I very understand your mood,I just just ask.,Your opinion is equally important,We will respect your opinion." 2 Stars because after all of this, they refunded my money. They never sent directions on how to send the pants back, so they are sitting in my closet taking up space.

Comfy but not ideal for hourglass figure
I am a medium hour glass figure, I ordered a medium and it fit great. However, if you have hips and a small waist they will rise up to your mid waist as you do something like yoga which is what I use them for. They are super comfy. I like how even though they are long, no matter what height you are, they will fit height wise. (I am 5'1)
