This is very unique and. Ute. I really like that it stands on its own so I don’t make a mess on my countertop. I van scoop up my soup, sauce or whatever I am making and put it down with no mess!! It has a generous cup also.

Adorable soup ladle, but even moreso, useful. Soup ladles tend to make a huge mess, because you can only set them on their side. This is such a great design and very useful. I love that it's cute too, brings joy into my kitchen. Overall, great quality for the price point.

This whale ladle is adorable and stands up perfectly when in use. I was slightly worried that the handle might be too thin or have too much flex, but I realized that I just needed to adjust where I held it depending on the weight that had to be lifted. For lighter loads, it is no problem to hold it further up, while lifting heavier loads feel safer when the handle is held further down since there is less flex. However, the ladle feels overall sturdy and hopefully will last a long time.

I make a lot of pasta meals for my family and one thing every cook knows is a little pasta water when combining the pasta with any kind of sauce is the secret to a smoothly blended together beautiful pasta dish. I had struggled a little with swapping between spatulas, spoons, and other utensils while cooking and making a bit of a mess with everything. In my mind I thought the best solution would be something I've seen online which was essentially a standing ladle. Still, I wasn't sure what the best one to get would be till I saw this super cute number.Does everything I needed of it.Stands up perfectly and has a really cute appearance. I think the whale tail design is adorable Not the most super convenient in terms of putting it away and it might become a bit of a hassle on your counters but I do believe overall you still end up with a product that provides an added benefit to your life.Made of strong material. Easy to clean. Cute appearance. No heat transfer.

Tall, with a long handle and large scoop, this is a very useful size for serving dishes at the table - it’s perfect for serving rice, mashed potatoes, veggies, macaroni and cheese and fruit bowls. Could also be used for a drinks ladle or spoon rest. It stands up on its own fins at about 11" tall, and is 3.5" wide across the top of the scoop. I don't think I would use it for cooking over a hot stove as it is plastic and I don't like to heat plastic. It is advised to not use with turmeric or foods that will stain this. The material is a thick, durable and good quality dishwasher safe plastic.This blue whale ladle is a wonderful design for ocean themed parties and beach homes - with the tail fins at top of the long handle, and the white ventral pleats underneath (they don't expand on the spoon however) you know exactly what this is. Kids adore the design and we are sure to add to this spoon. Would make a perfect gift for ocean lovers.

When I saw the Peleg Design Souper Tail Soup Ladle, I had to order it for my beach house. Anything whale related goes perfect with my nautical theme. This ladle is really cute and I like how it can stand up on its own. It’s also dishwasher safe.I was somewhat disappointed though that it can only be used for broth or colorless sauces and drinks. As a result, this ladle seems to be more of a decorative piece, and you still will need to have a stainless steel ladle stored in your kitchen.
