Q: How many carbohydrates are in 2 table spoons (2tbps)?it says less than one for 1/4 tsp, but i would like to know exactly how much for a larger amount.

Don't over complicate it, to be safe assume 1 carb per 1/4 tsp. Legally they can tell you zero if its less than 1 gram of carbs even if its .95 grams. That means about 4 carbs per 1 tsp and there are 3 tsp to 1 tbsp. You could also just test your blood sugar as well after doing 2 tbsps. on an empty stomach, if it doesn't raise then it doesn't have much carbs. I avoid stuff like this because of the poor nutritional disclosure.

Q: does this have the same consistency as regular syrup or is it more liquidy?

The Nunaturals syrup is worthy of the name, being about the same consistency as good old Hershey's but it is MUCH sweeter and stronger cocoa wise. You would not want to slather it about! It is very good as a flavoring for milk, which is how I use it. Now I do recommend you shake it each time you use it, as it seems to be in a suspension that will gravitate to the bottom. Shake it! Not hard to do.

Q: Question from the uneducated: Does this syrup really contain zero calories?

Yes. However it does have <1 gram carbohydrate for 1/4 tsp. So if you ate enough of it, those fractions of carbs would add up and therefore not be considered calorie free. Carbohydrates contain 4 calories per gram if you were wondering.
