I recieved my string lights in the mail yesterday and I am absolutely in love with them. It was very easy to set up and it wasnt as tangled up as the last fairy lights that I got from a different website. The color options and mode options are beautiful and relaxing and lets just say, this product has me highly impressed!

I used these as window lights. I put them inside instead of outside so I wouldn't have to take them down after Christmas. When they are off you can't tell they are there.The good - everything worked out of the box. The red looks good but is pretty dim. Same with blue. I don't think they would be very visible from the street but haven't tried it yet. I needed green though and that both looks good and is noticably brighter and it does look good from the street. (I used a different brand for red). None of the other colors really look right. There is basically no yellow but there are several shades of blue and green. I think the orange looks ok too so maybe I can use them for Halloween. There is a button on the USB plug that lets you cycle through the colors and modes in case you lose the remote, so that's nice (I don't think that was in the description). They would probably look great inside if the lights aren't too bright, especially on a Christmas tree (they are brighter than the current ones on my little tree).The bad - the lead is very short, as in about a foot. If you plan to plug it in you'll need an extension cord or be right by a plug. You can also use a long USB cable as an extension if you have one, but I didn't try it to see what it did to light output. It's also pretty flimsy - the button on the USB fell off and it took a while to get it back on. I wasn't impressed with the different modes. I just basically cycles through the colors in 4 different manners - no multi-color support. I only need solid colors for the windows so no big deal there, but it's a deal breaker for other things so I'll have to buy a different brand for that.Another objection which seems to be true on all of these lights is the timer. This one had 4 different times, which is nice, but there is no way to hook all your lights together and use a single timer. I don't mean chain together either. If you use a manual timer then when it comes back on it will go to the default, which I think is red. It says it restores to the previous setting but that's only true if you use the built-in off switch or timer, if the power is cut it does not do that. That means if you have these in 6 windows you have to manually start all 6 either with the remotes or the USB plug. If you planned on using a lot of these that's a big deal. On ther other hand, it does have a 24 hour run time so you don't have to keep doing it.Still, for what it costs and what I'm using it for I'm not too disappointed. I may buy another for a different window but then that's probably it.

I bought these and was skeptical they wouldn't work. First night they were so bright I HAD to turn them down to the lowest setting. I do find each color very vibrant. I like to sleep with dim lighting so the only 3 colors that are DIM enough on the lowest setting are orange, red and yellow. The others are too bright so fall asleep with BUT I was tired enough to fall asleep with the "white" light on and it was fine. I put white in quotes cause it's almost exactly the same as the aqua color. The timers are great I use the 4 and 6 hour ones, I don't even notice when they turn off. BUT I do know it's the amount of time the button you click cause i timed it and it shut off exactly at the 4-6 hour mark. DOWNFALL of these is...>I have to use a universal remote for my TV and I found out that any buttons I click on it turns on and off my lights, changes colors, and modes of fading of flashing and brightness. So turning up and down the TV was changing the brightness of my lights. SO if you have a universal remote, don't use it in the same room. I bought 4 of these. I use one around the ceiling of my bathroom, around the garage door of my garage (on the inside) in my room and in the livingroom across the back wall. They all work AMAZING. Had it for 2 weeks now and they work great. I unplug in the morning when I get up and plug in before bed cause it says not to leave it plugged in. The remote battery also can be replaced with the dollar store ones. They won't last as long as the expensive ones but the dollar store does make the size I checked.

worked great, while it worked. Then started blinking randomly and finally gave up. Not a big deal for $$ paid but still...

I used to have a white strand with white lights (actual Christmas lights) inside of this glass block. I love it as a decor item on my counter which is also a cozy little light at night. Since my Christmas lights went out after a solid 5 years, I was hunting for something new. I figured I would try these ones versus the Christmas style. Day 1 - packaged perfectly and no issues. I read some reviews stating that after a week or month, they stopped working or had faulty remotes. I will revise this review if there are any issues in the near future.(Update) DAY 4- the lights cannot stay plugged in. Even when turned “off”, the lights just kept turning back on. Each morning when I woke up, they were on. I left them plugged in and off throughout the day and watched them just flick back on. Hesitant that is could be a safety issue if there is a short somehow. Taking from 5 stars to 4 based on the lights only staying off of unplugged. Still beautiful when lit. Will update again if needed.

This product is exactly what i needed and wanted. I really wanted one that scrolled through a variety of colors. I also wanted one that plugged into a wall. It's designed great, the layout is nice BUT FLASH and FADE mode should scroll through all colors but they only go through 4...green doesnt work at all even when you select it. Yellow doesn't work, orange either. I really wanted these options to work. Sadly, this unit is defective so i'm only able to use a few colors. this would have been a 5 star unit if it worked properly.

I love it i used it on my christmas garlands and my fall garlands. i love the timer so i wont have to turn it off and on it on the settings its GREAT
