Works fantastic and fast. Shreds sealed envelopes very well. Not noisy at all.

This is a great paper shredder and lives up to the heavy duty description. My husband and I are cleaning out long overdue files and this shredder has been a real workhorse and shreds non stop almost for an hour before needing a rest.

Where do I start? This shredder did not jam once. This 12-cut micro shredder shredded everything I gave it to cut. No way any personal data is salvageable with this machine. The security aspect is "spot on!" There is no piecing together something like they do in the movies. Plus, I saved money purchasing this shredder from Amazon. Bottom line: so far, it has worked as advertised. Holds a ton of shredded material. I have to say, though, I was not speed-feeding items as I wanted to go slowly to get the feel of what it could do. My next step is to "go for it," and push through loads of flyers, envelopes - post cards and all other stuff to test the 40-minute claim speed. I must say, it is a little disconcerting to see it "back cut" which slows down the input, but the manual says that's the way the machine clears any possible paper jams and resharpens the cutter blades. I viewed other 12-cut micro shredders for lots more money, hopefully, I have gotten a good deal and a good product. Stay tuned. Well, went at using my shredder full-throttle: This thing is quiet, and it hummed along for 20-minutes flat out! No hiccups - nothing - just shredding its heart out! I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

Operating instructions should be more detailed. Not clear how if you have to hold the forward (or reverse) button for , to continuous shredding.So far, after only using it one time, appears to operate satisfactorily.

I sat right in front of it & could've talked on my phone at the same time. So, you could also use this is one room & it wouldn't hinder anyone else sleeping or watching TV etc in another area.GOOD SIZE = 5.3 gallon means you could shred 480pages before you need to empty it. Big enough to shred & hold a bunch, but not so big that you can't make is discreet in a room or home officeEASY SETUP = Super easy right out of the box. The shredder is constantly jamming up. Only had it 2 months. Try to get help with this and all I can get is videos and online reading material of what I can do to fix the issue. In two months I have had to unclog it and even putting one sheet of paper in at a time. But I got this for multiple papers and cd and credit card shredding and it won't even do one sheet. In the last two months have lubricated it 3 times and gone down to using one piece of paper at a time. This is not a unit to use if you want to shred multiple pages at a time. Like I said before getting help is impossible very frustrating to say the least

It never clogs up. It is quieter than others i have had in the past. It makes shedding easy.

A nicely designed and reasonably quiet shredder. The bin size is good, although now I wish I would have gotten the next larger size.But, all in all, I'm very satisfied with the operation and style of the machine. The stated run time is what also sold me on this unit, given as 60 minutes, is impressive. Although I don't think I have ever run any shredder for more than 10 minutes at a time, it must be a pretty good motor to advertise it as they state.
