Yogabum Classic Collection Non-Slip Yoga Mat Towels

Bought two purples ones: On the plus side it sticks to the mat like glue and I've had no trouble with it slipping during repeated Bikram exertions. The size is great, it matches a yoga mat perfectly and is the ideal size for me (6 foot male). On the down side the colour runs like crazy, even with sweat. On first use the colour ran from my sweaty towel onto my shorts in my gym bag and practically ruined them. It still turns my washing machine purple after many washings. If they fix the colour they'll be perfect.

I bought this as a travel a lot with work and wanted something I could use in hotel rooms. I practice ashtanga so it's a sweaty practice and for me this towel just doesn't have the grip I need. My hands slip all over the place. So I really don't use this at all - bit of a waste of money for me.

I have a couple of yoga mat/towels that I lay down on top of the foam matt - this is my favourite - it is soft and strong and good thickness, and it washes and wears to still look like new. Lovely fresh colour that has stayed strong too. Effective at being anti slip.

Purchased this based on previous reviews so was looking forward to receiving this. Arrived on time and came in a nice little carry bag and couldn't wait to put it to use at my Yoga class. It fit beautifully over my mat but I was very disappointed when my feet kept slipping when doing the sun salutation pose. In the end I gave up and put it to one side. My yoga instructor said it may get better with wear so I may give it another try.

It is slippery and impossible to use for purpose.I have washed it several times (without softener) and sprayed before use but it is just too soft on the non-grippy side.I've resorted to using it as a picnic blanket :(

I used this to use in a hot yoga class as I don't like the idea of the shared sweaty mats without a towel and a normal towel kept sliding making holding positions difficult. This covered the whole mat and even had a little extra in length, although the edges curled up slightly I could just tuck them under the mat. I used this dots down and it soaked up my sweat well and only moved ocassionly. It is also quite light and compact so is much better than using a regular towel. The colour grey was true to the picture and it came with a mesh carry bag which I don't use but is a nice touch.

I was looking at buying a much more expensive brand - Yogitoes, but didn't want to part with £45! I have two of these towels one in Candy Pink and Baby Blue.Great value and fit for purpose - I use them for Bikram (Hot) Yoga.These towels also have the silicon dots on one side which help grip the towel to my mat. Little to no bunching when moving from pose to pose.Easy to wash and no colour runs although I did wash them separately for the first few washes.Drying time is ok but if you practice hot yoga on a daily basis you should invest in at least two of these towels just to make sure that they dry in time. The towel is not made of microfiber material so this adds to the weight of the towel and increases the drying time - which are slight negatives.

Great towel for hot yoga! It washes well and fits the standard yoga mats perfectly. The silicon dots make it really stick to the mat so it doesn’t move at all. I’ve recommended it to friends. I initially bought another towel from another supplier and that didn’t really work for me as it moved around all over the place making poses really difficult to do.
